“Stars on Stars”: Gelli & Candy Share Motherhood Experiences

Known for her wit and unshakable strength, Candy shared how raising her neurodivergent son, Quentin, profoundly changed her view on life and motherhood.

“Hindi ako perfect na mom kaya I’m trying my best. My most and least favorite part of being a mother is taking care of Quentin. Mahirap siya pero ito yung dahilan bakit ako umayos bilang tao,” Candy revealed with honesty and heart.

Gelli, meanwhile, described motherhood as the ultimate role—challenging, fulfilling, and irreplaceable.

“Ang pagiging ina, walang manual. Pero kahit mahirap, ‘yun ang role na hindi ko ipagpapalit kahit kailan,” she shared, reflecting on the ups and downs of raising two sons.

Their bond, built on decades of shared experiences in showbiz and beyond, remains unbreakable.

“Nakakatuwa kasi kahit ilang taon na ang lumipas, nandito pa rin kami para sa isa’t isa,” Gelli said.

“Masarap yung may kaibigan kang kilala ka—lahat ng kalokohan at kahinaan mo—pero nandyan pa rin,” Candy added, proving that true friendship means showing up, flaws and all.
