Multi-platinum, two-time GRAMMY®-winning global superstar Tyla has officially released her highly anticipated sophomore studio album, APOP*—the follow-up to her self-titled debut.

The 14-track project features previously released hit singles including “CHANEL,” “IS IT,” “SHE DID IT AGAIN” (featuring Zara Larsson), and her latest romantic ballad, “IS IT LOVE.”
Massive Release-Weekend Takeover
To celebrate the landmark launch, Tyla headlined The Today Show’s Citi Summerstage® in New York City and will perform as the halftime headliner for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago—making history as the first international artist to headline the WNBA halftime show in its 28-year history.
The release weekend follows a global rollout that included fan listening sessions with YouTube in London, Atlanta, and New York, alongside an official Vevo Live Performance of “IS IT LOVE.” Tyla also expanded her brand beyond music this week with the unveiling of her official Bratz doll.
Building Momentum After GRAMMY Success
The path to APOP* was paved by an explosive series of releases following her second GRAMMY win earlier this year for “PUSH 2 START” (Best African Music Performance):

- “CHANEL”: The album’s lead single topped the U.S. Afrobeats chart, with its music video surpassing 140 million views.
- “SHE DID IT AGAIN”: Tapping Swedish pop star Zara Larsson for a Britney Spears-inspired collaboration, the track debuted across seven global charts and became a viral TikTok trend.
- “IS IT LOVE”: Earned Tyla her record fourth No. 1 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats chart.
Tracklist details were officially revealed last week on Instagram, where Tyla etched all 14 song titles in neon paint during an interactive social reveal.
