Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26 in Germany unveiled an ambitious wave of upcoming YA International Originals from Spain, France, Germany, Italy and India — set to captivate global audiences this fall and beyond

Prime Video is taking its young adult universe to an even bigger stage. After the global breakout of hit titles including The Summer I Turned Pretty, Off Campus, the Culpables franchise, and Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, Prime Video has cemented itself as a major home for young adult storytelling—creating fandoms that stretch far beyond language and borders.
Now, the streaming platform is doubling down with its biggest-ever YA slate, putting the spotlight on a new generation of non-English-language International Originals from Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and India.
To celebrate this next chapter, Prime Video hosted the Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26 from September 7–8, a two-day immersive experience set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bavarian Alps.
Inspired by the campus-style worlds featured in many of Prime Video’s International Originals—including Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, Campus Drivers, Perfect Liars, and more—the event brought together stars, authors, fans, immersive experiences, and exclusive first looks from one of the platform’s most ambitious YA lineups yet.

Announcements and First Looks
The two-day gathering delivered a series of highly anticipated announcements, cast appearances, and exclusive first looks, including:
- First official images from Boys of Tommen (series, UK) featuring Nancy Surridge as Shannon Lynch and Conor Sánchez as Johnny Kavanagh, accompanied by a special cast video message. The highly anticipated series is based on the BookTok sensation and #1 New York Times bestselling book series by Irish author Chloe Walsh.
- First-look images from Love Me Love Me 2 (movie, Italy) featuring Mia Jenkins, Pepe Barroso Silva, Luca Melucci, and Andrea Guo. The second movie based on the phenomenon novel and Wattpad sensation by Stefania S. is set to launch in 2027.
- First-look images from Our Fault: London (movie, UK) featuring Asha Banks and Matt Broome. The film serves as the highly anticipated conclusion to the UK adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s Culpables book trilogy, launching in 2027.
- A special cast video message from Off Campus (series, US) stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. Based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series, the title is among Prime Video’s biggest series debuts ever.

- Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego Garcia from Drawn Together (Enfrentados: Marfil) (movie, Spain), based on Mercedes Ron’s bestselling novel, launching September 9.
- Vittoria di Savoia and Lucas Barski from You+Me – Against the World (Toi + Moi – Seuls contre tous) (movie, France), based on Emma Green’s bestselling novels, launching September 18.
- Lili Reinhart from The Love Hypothesis (movie, US), based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Ali Hazelwood, launching September 23.
- Lisa-Marie Koroll from Drive – The Pretenders (movie, Germany), based on a Wattpad sensation, launching October 28.
- Carmen Kassovitz and author C.S. Quill from Campus Drivers (series, France), based on an international college romance book series, launching November.

- Ananya Panday from Call Me Bae, Season 2 (series, India), the hit Indian series coming soon.
- Alícia Falcó, Fernando Lindez, and Diego Vidales from Tell Me in Secret (Dímelo en Secreto) (movie, Spain), the second installment in Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Dímelo trilogy, launching in early 2027.
- Pepe Barroso Silva, Mia Jenkins, and Luca Melucci from Love Me Love Me 2 (movie, Italy), based on Stefania S.’s Wattpad sensation, launching in 2027.
- Mercedes Ron, author of Prime Video’s most-watched International Originals, the Culpables franchise, as well as the Dímelo trilogy and Enfrentados duology (movies, Spain). Ron also has a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
A Retreat Built for the Obsessed
More than a showcase of upcoming titles, Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26 was a full celebration of young adult storytelling and the passionate fandoms behind it.
The two-day event featured special screenings of The Love Hypothesis, Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, Season 3, Drawn Together, You+Me – Against the World, Drive – The Pretenders, and Perfect Liars.
Fans and guests also enjoyed cast and author panel discussions, including special video messages from the casts of Off Campus and Boys of Tommen, alongside exclusive first looks at upcoming YA programming, author book readings, immersive experiences, and more.
The event builds on Prime Video’s growing commitment to bringing fans closer to the stories and talent they love. It follows the Prime Video: Retreat held in Ibiza, Spain, last year, as well as the inaugural Obsessed Fest fan event held in Los Angeles in June 2026.
With an increasingly diverse lineup spanning multiple countries, languages, cultures, and genres, Prime Video’s latest YA push signals one thing loud and clear: the obsession is only getting bigger—and the next global fandom could come from anywhere.
