The energy was high and the waves were alive at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort on Sunday, August 24, as the resort proudly hosted the first-ever Lubi Swimfest 2025 in partnership with MadWave Philippines.
The open-water competition brought together more than 100 swimmers, some as young as five years old, who braved the scenic waters between Brgy. Pindasan and Kopiat Island—the lush home of Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort.
After exciting 1.5 km and 2.5 km swim events, athletes and supporters gathered at the Pavilion Tent for a festive brunch and awarding ceremony. Winners across different age groups proudly took home gold, silver, and bronze medals, while both individual and team categories showcased outstanding performances.
Crowning the competition, the Nabunturan Mighty Manta Swimming Club claimed the overall championship title, with the Riptide Racers Swim Team and NOGCC Swim Team earning first and second runners-up honors.
The day wrapped up with athletes and their families unwinding in the resort’s world-class amenities—from pristine white-sand beaches to relaxing leisure facilities—creating a perfect and memorable close to the landmark Lubi Swimfest 2025.
