The Tamaraw ambassador shares his ‘Abante, Posible’ stories with Kagay-anon MSME owners

The City of Golden Friendship roared with excitement as award-winning actor and Toyota Tamaraw brand ambassador Coco Martin arrived at Toyota Cagayan de Oro (TCO) to the beat of drums and cheers from adoring fans.
His visit, held in the middle of the city’s vibrant Higalaay Festival, marked the first provincial stop of the nationwide Next Generation Tamaraw Caravan spearheaded by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) and its partner dealers. The event gave Kagay-anons a chance to meet the star and get up close with the Tamaraw, the iconic Filipino utility vehicle reimagined for today’s entrepreneurs.

Celebrating Customers and Their Dreams
In a heartfelt gesture, Coco joined TCO executives Ms. Betty Lu and Mr. Peter Lim Lo Suy in the ceremonial release of a brand-new Toyota Tamaraw Utility Van to customers Mr. and Mrs. Lopez, thanking them for choosing the Tamaraw as their trusted partner for progress.
The actor also spoke about his personal experience as a Tamaraw owner, sharing how the vehicle supports his growing business, Coco Plus.
“Habang okay ang aking career, sinisimulan ko ang pagnenegosyo. Ang Tamaraw ang ginagamit ko para mas mapabilis ang pag-aangkat at pagdedeliver ng aking mga produkto,” Coco said, underscoring the Tamaraw’s role in empowering entrepreneurs like himself.

Inspiring Local Entrepreneurs
Among those inspired by Coco’s story was Sohaimah Noroden, owner of N&S Glassware and a live seller in CDO. She proudly chose the Tamaraw Aluminum Cargo, praising its fuel efficiency, ease of driving, cargo capacity, and affordability—features that make it an ideal partner for MSMEs like hers.

From Showroom to Mall: Tamaraw on Display
Coco also surprised mallgoers at a vibrant Tamaraw showcase nearby, where fans got to see firsthand how the Next Generation Tamaraw has evolved—not just in design, but in versatility and customization. From showroom to shopping mall, Coco charmed Kagay-anons with his trademark smile while championing Toyota’s trusted partner for Filipino businesses.
Expanding the Tamaraw Lineup
First launched in 2024, the Next Generation Tamaraw continues to embody reliability and adaptability for today’s entrepreneurs. Last July, TMP expanded its lineup to include the Wing Van, Food Truck, and Mobile Store, joining existing variants such as the Dropside, Utility Van, and Aluminum Cargo.
With more stops lined up nationwide, the Toyota Tamaraw Caravan promises to bring more excitement and opportunities to MSMEs across the Philippines.
