Displays of different variants and conversions show the adaptability of the Tamaraw at the AFEX, PURVEYR Fair, PHILBEX Cebu, and DCPH Grandparents Day

Since its introduction in 2024, the Next Generation Toyota Tamaraw has continued to deliver on its promise of being a vehicle of choice built for versatility. Designed around a highly configurable platform, the Tamaraw can be customized to suit the needs, lifestyles, and operational requirements of business owners and individuals alike.
From passenger and cargo transport to refrigerated logistics and purpose-built mobile businesses, the Tamaraw can take on a wide range of applications. Combined with Toyota’s proven QDR—quality, durability, and reliability—and trusted aftersales service, the Tamaraw is built to support the demands of everyday business operations.
This week, Toyota Motor Philippines will put the Next Generation Tamaraw’s versatility on full display across four events in Metro Manila and Cebu. From September 9 to 12, the Tamaraw will take center stage at the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) at the World Trade Center, showcasing different business possibilities for the food and beverage industry.
From September 10 to 13, the Tamaraw will head to Cebu for the Philippine Building Construction Expo Cebu 2026 or PHILBEX Cebu at the IEC Convention Center Cebu. There, the vehicle will demonstrate its capabilities as a workhorse for the building and construction industry, with guests given the opportunity to experience the Tamaraw through test drives.
Meanwhile, the local creative community will get its first look at a Tamaraw GL Dropside DJ booth at the annual PURVEYR Fair from September 12 to 13. On the same dates, another Tamaraw GL Dropside will be displayed at the Die Cast PH Grandparents Day Pit Stop at Cash & Carry Makati, bringing the versatile vehicle into the world of diecast collectors and offering enthusiasts another source of inspiration.
Across all four events, guests can discover different sides of the Next Generation Tamaraw and find applications that demonstrate how the vehicle can adapt to a wide range of interests, industries, and lifestyles.

Different Configurations for Different Business Requirements
At AFEX, a trade show focused on food processing, packaging, handling machinery, equipment, and technology, Toyota will feature four Tamaraw configurations: the Tamaraw Utility Van, Tamaraw GL Dropside, Tamaraw Wing Van, and Tamaraw Ref Van.
Each configuration highlights how the Tamaraw platform can be adapted to address specific business requirements—from transporting goods and equipment to supporting specialized food and beverage operations.
Meanwhile, PHILBEX Cebu will feature a Tamaraw GL Dropside, with test drives available to eventgoers. As Cebu’s construction and design sector continues to expand, the Philippine Building Construction Expo Cebu 2026 serves as an important platform for industry players and professionals, helping drive the growth of the Cebuano construction and design community.
Together, AFEX and PHILBEX Cebu provide a fitting showcase for the Tamaraw’s role as a nation-building vehicle. They give aspiring and established business owners an opportunity to see firsthand how the Tamaraw can become an integral part of day-to-day operations across different industries.

Taking the Next Generation Tamaraw Into More Specialized Applications
At PURVEYR Fair, the Next Generation Tamaraw will take on an entirely different character as two units demonstrate applications that go beyond conventional passenger and cargo transport.
The two-day gathering of independent Filipino brands, creatives, and communities will feature a Tamaraw GL Dropside transformed into a DJ booth and another converted into a pop-up flower store. Both setups demonstrate how the vehicle’s open rear section can serve as the foundation for very different mobile concepts.

On September 12, the Tamaraw Dropside DJ booth will feature DJ sets from Waff, Roy De Borja, Okami, Average Bri, Nix Damn P! and J Dope. On September 13, Okami, ADMV, Michiko, Nix Damn P!, Butta B, and Yela Renee will cap off the event with their performances.
A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed at the fair in support of Waves For Water. Beyond demonstrating how the Tamaraw can be transformed into a functional mobile business space, the setup highlights how the vehicle can also become a platform for bringing a business’s advocacy closer to communities.
Meanwhile, eventgoers at the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH) Grandparents Day Pit Stop will have the opportunity to see another Tamaraw GL Dropside on display.
The growing diecast community in the Philippines has also taken an interest in the Next Generation Tamaraw, particularly because of its modular and adaptable character—not only as a business vehicle, but also as a canvas for artistic expression and leisure.
Experience the Versatility of the Next Generation Tamaraw
The Next Generation Tamaraw and its various configurations and conversions will be on display at AFEX from September 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center and at PURVEYR Fair from September 12 to 13 at the World Trade Center Tent.

The Tamaraw will also be featured at PHILBEX Expo 2026 from September 10 to 13 at the IEC Convention Center Cebu, while another Tamaraw display will be available at the DCPH Grandparents Day Pit Stop from September 12 to 13 at Cash & Carry Makati.
