Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants, accelerated its momentum in 2025—expanding its nationwide footprint, strengthening strategic alliances, and deepening its commitment to communities across the country.

Caltex Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay Road, one of the new Caltex retail sites opened in 2025, strengthens Chevron Philippines Inc.’s growing network and commitment to serving motorists in key growth areas.

The year also ushered in new leadership with the appointment of Pongtorn “Bon” Tangmanuswong as General Manager and Country Chairman. Bringing 17 years of leadership experience across Chevron’s Asia-Pacific markets, including his previous role as head of Chevron Cambodia, Tangmanuswong steps into the Philippine market with a clear vision.

“In 2025, I gained a deeper understanding of the Philippines’ dynamic fuel landscape and the vast opportunities ahead,” he shared. “Our direction is anchored on Chevron’s 109-year legacy in the country, guided by innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability.”

Expanding Access Nationwide

CPI sustained its aggressive retail expansion strategy, opening 18 new Caltex service stations in key growth areas such as Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Balaoan, La Union; Makati; Tagaytay; Puerto Princesa, Palawan; and Bacolod. Each location was strategically selected near urban centers, major highways, and high-traffic corridors to ensure greater accessibility for Filipino motorists.

Complementing this expansion, CPI launched 75 new Caltex Havoline Autopro and Bikepro workshops in 2025, growing its nationwide network to over 500 service locations. Through these workshops, customers gain access to 22 professional maintenance services delivered by trained mechanics—reinforcing Caltex’s reputation for reliability beyond the pump.

This deliberate growth underscores Chevron’s commitment to delivering premium fuels and dependable automotive care wherever Filipinos travel.

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships

Chevron also reinforced its ecosystem through new and sustained partnerships aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience.

The company renewed long-standing lease agreements with Batangas Land Company, Inc. (BLC) for properties in San Pascual, Batangas; Lapu-Lapu, Cebu; San Fernando (Poro), La Union; and Sasa, Davao City—ensuring uninterrupted fuel service in these vital communities.

Expanding its non-fuel retail portfolio, Caltex partnered with local coffee chain PICKUP COFFEE to bring espresso-based beverages directly to motorists. As of January 2026, 20 new kiosks have opened, bringing PICKUP COFFEE’s presence in Caltex stations to 32 locations.

“Our partnership with Caltex reflects our commitment to meeting customers where they need us most,” said PICKUP COFFEE CEO Francis Flores. “We see this as the beginning of a long-term relationship built on trust and genuine service.”

Caltex likewise strengthened its collaboration with convenience retail giant 7-Eleven. In 2025 alone, five new 7-Eleven stores opened in Caltex stations, bringing the total to 123 locations nationwide—further elevating the one-stop convenience experience for customers on the move.

Driving Social Impact Beyond Business

Beyond fueling vehicles, Chevron continued to fuel positive change.

In 2025, the company once again supported the AmCham Foundation Philippines’ ScholaCOLORun, a fundraising event dedicated to providing education opportunities for underprivileged youth. The event drew 3,458 runners, including 290 participants from CPI and Chevron Holdings Inc. (CHI), ultimately benefiting 109 scholars.

“Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty,” said AmCham President Edwin Feist. “Chevron’s continued partnership has helped many young Filipinos realize their potential and uplift their families.”

Environmental stewardship also remained a priority. In September, CPI mobilized 250 volunteers—including employees, contractors, and community partners—for its annual Coastal Cleanup in San Pascual, Batangas. The initiative collected 232 sacks of waste along the shoreline beside Chevron’s Batangas Terminal, helping preserve a nesting habitat for Olive Ridley sea turtles.

Meanwhile, Chevron’s annual Volunteer Day brought employees from CPI and the Caltex Makati Credit Cooperative to Guanella Center, Inc., where they spent meaningful time with beneficiaries with special needs through interactive activities and shared meals—strengthening community bonds and inclusivity.

Building Momentum for 2026

Through strategic expansion, meaningful partnerships, and impactful outreach programs, Chevron Philippines powered through 2025 with measurable growth and purpose.

As 2026 unfolds, the company remains focused on delivering innovative energy solutions, elevating customer experiences, and sustaining initiatives that create lasting value for Filipino communities.

Chevron isn’t just fueling journeys—it’s helping build the road ahead.
