Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ undisputed Grill Expert, is turning everyday dining moments into binge-worthy content with the launch of its first-ever Kaing Mang Inasal Stories on TikTok. The eight-episode narrative series captures the raw, relatable, and often hilarious moments that unfold over everyone’s favorite Ihaw Sarap meals and Unli Saya experiences.

The series opened on Valentine’s Day with all the kilig and awkward charm of a first date. Featuring JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, the pilot episode follows a young couple navigating the nerves of their first romantic meetup—only to find themselves loosening up over their Mang Inasal favorites. Between shared laughs and unlimited rice, the pair quickly settles into their most natural, unfiltered selves.

The episode struck a chord online, trending on Valentine’s Day as netizens shared their own first-date stories. Many commented on how Mang Inasal’s relaxed, no-frills atmosphere makes it easy to drop the “pa-demure” act. As one viewer perfectly put it, dining at Mang Inasal has that comforting vibe where you can truly be yourself—especially when you’re enjoying delicious food with someone special.

“The series is part of our ongoing Kaing Mang Inasal campaign,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro. “It celebrates what makes the Mang Inasal experience unique—our grill expertise, generous servings, and that warm, no-judgment, come-as-you-are ambiance in our restaurants.”

New episodes of Kaing Mang Inasal Stories drop every Friday at 3PM until April, bringing more authentic Ihaw Sarap and Unli Saya moments straight to your TikTok feed.
