“The safety of our guests and flight crew remains our top priority,” said First Officer Steve Dailisan, Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs at AirAsia Philippines. “In light of these cancellations, we are offering standard recovery options in accordance with the Air Passenger Bill of Rights (APBR) to minimize inconvenience and ensure our guests’ travel plans can proceed once conditions improve.”
Passengers flying to or from Cebu, Tagbilaran, and Iloilo may also experience delays, as AirAsia continues to monitor potential ash cloud developments on these routes. The airline is in constant coordination with aviation authorities to ensure timely and accurate information is shared via SMS, email, the AirAsia MOVE app, and official social media channels.
