Yes My Love Drops Debut Album ‘Mahal Kita Kasi’

P-pop boy group Yes My Love celebrates the different dimensions of romance with its debut album, “Mahal Kita Kasi…,” an eight-track collection that captures the happiness of falling in love and the meaningful relationships people share with one another.

Members Niko, Joshua, Jeff, Brian, and RZ marked the album’s release with a special launch event at SM City Dasmariñas last Saturday, where they were warmly welcomed by their enthusiastic fans.

“Grabe kayo magmahal lalo na sa mga 143 na dumayo para lang makisaya at makasama kami para sa aming ‘Mahal Kita Kasi…’ Album Launch. Iba ang saya ang nabigay niyo sa amin dahil sumabay kayo sa aming kakulitan at pag-awit,” the group shared in a social media post.

Showcasing their distinct romantic style, Yes My Love brings together original compositions and fresh renditions of well-loved OPM songs in the album. Its eight-track lineup features “Wag Kang Lalayo,” composed by Alfonso M. Bassig and Dennis Mendez; “Mahal Kita Kasi,” written by Christian Martinez and Jeff Cabrera; “Hibang,” penned by Romeo P. Condor III; “Bawal,” written by Cedric Manguerra and Brian Zamora; “Simpleng Tao,” composed by Christian Martinez and Jeff Cabrera; “Don Romantiko” and “Kasama Kang Tumanda,” both written by Christian Martinez; and “Dial,” composed by Jeff Cabrera. Jeremy G served as the album producer.

Last August, the group successfully staged “PULSO: The First Concert” at the SM City North Edsa Skydome, followed by the “PULSO: Roadshow,” which brought their music and performances closer to an even wider audience.

Dubbed the “Vocal Heartstoppers of P-pop,” Yes My Love initially gained attention through their pre-debut cover of “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw” before officially entering the music scene with their debut single “Rhythm” in 2023. The group followed this milestone in 2024 with the release of their first EP, “You, Me, & Love,” featuring the tracks “Laging Naroon Ka” and “Gisinging Ang Puso.”
