For many music fans, listening to an album is more than simply pressing play. It is about remembering the songs, connecting with the stories behind the lyrics, collecting something meaningful, and holding on to the memories that come with every release.

For A’TIN, that experience is about to take on a different dimension.

SB19 is bringing its album Wakas at Simula to vinyl, transforming the group’s music into a physical collector’s edition that fans can hold, display, and revisit beyond digital streaming platforms.

The vinyl launch will be celebrated through a special launch and fan signing event on November 15, 2026, from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City.

The announcement, unveiled during the group’s eighth debut anniversary celebration at ONE ZONE FEST on October 25, adds another memorable chapter to SB19’s continuing journey in Philippine music.

For a group whose career has been shaped by reinvention, persistence, and an expanding international audience, the vinyl release is more than another merchandise offering. It is an opportunity to give an album a tangible presence in the lives of its listeners.

WHEN MUSIC BECOMES SOMETHING YOU CAN HOLD

Vinyl records have experienced renewed interest among music enthusiasts and collectors, particularly those who appreciate the physical and artistic experience of owning an album.

Unlike digital streaming, a vinyl record invites listeners to slow down, appreciate the packaging, examine the artwork, read the lyrics, and experience an album as a complete body of work.

SB19’s Wakas at Simula vinyl edition embraces that experience.

The limited-edition release comes in a Smokey Midnight Blue vinyl design, housed in premium tri-fold packaging. It also includes a 24-page full-color lyric photobook, an art print, a randomly selected member photocard, a sticker pack, and an NFC tag that provides access to the album online.

The package is listed at ₱3,500 through Backspacer Records.

For collectors, these inclusions make the release particularly interesting: it combines the traditional appeal of vinyl with contemporary digital access and exclusive SB19 memorabilia.

TWELVE TRACKS, ONE COLLECTIBLE EXPERIENCE

The vinyl edition features 12 tracks divided into two sides.

Side A opens with VISA, followed by Memories, Toyfriend featuring BE:FIRST, Everblack, Emoji featuring JOLIN, and Wakas.

Side B continues with What?, MAPA, Mana, Bazinga, Ikako, and SLMT, featuring the Wakas at Simula versions of selected earlier releases.

While the digital album contains 24 tracks, the physical vinyl edition presents 12 tracks, giving collectors a distinct listening experience.

The inclusion of collaborations with BE:FIRST and JOLIN also reflects SB19’s growing connections with artists beyond the Philippine music scene.

500 A’TIN, 500 EXCLUSIVE EVENT EXPERIENCES

But the excitement does not end with the record itself.

To make the November 15 celebration more memorable, the organizers have announced exclusive benefits for the first 500 eligible participants.

Every qualified participant will receive one exclusive event photocard and one randomly assigned bonus perk.

The available experiences are divided into three categories:

– 150 participants will receive a vinyl-signing session and photo opportunity with SB19.

– 100 participants will receive a group photo opportunity with the five members, arranged in groups of 10. This perk does not include vinyl signing.

– 250 participants will receive an exclusive A3 poster.

The allocation means that not everyone will receive a personal signing or group photograph. Instead, each participant will be randomly assigned one of the three available perks.

The assigned benefit will be confirmed through email on November 6, 2026, together with event details and verification instructions.

THE PRE-ORDER MECHANICS: WHAT FANS NEED TO KNOW

The event is not simply an open fan gathering. Participation is subject to specific purchase and registration requirements.

Under the mechanics published by Backspacer Records, the first 500 successful online pre-orders using the designated promotional code NOV15PICKUP qualify for an event slot.

The promo code must be entered during checkout. It cannot be added after an order has been completed.

Each qualified customer is entitled to only one event slot, regardless of the number of vinyl records purchased or orders placed. The registered customer must personally attend and present the required identification and order information for verification.

Companions, proxies, and representatives are not permitted to attend or claim the order on the participant’s behalf.

Those who qualify but cannot attend may still claim their vinyl at the Backspacer Records store in Pasig from November 16 to December 15, 2026, but they will forfeit their event privileges.

As of October 30, the product page displays the vinyl as sold out. Interested fans should check the official store for any subsequent restock announcements rather than assume that additional event slots are available.

MORE THAN AN ANNIVERSARY: CELEBRATING EIGHT YEARS OF SB19

The vinyl announcement also comes at a meaningful point in the group’s career.

Since its debut in October 2018, SB19—composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—has steadily established itself as one of the leading acts in the Philippine P-pop movement.

From the early recognition brought by Go Up to the success of releases such as Pagsibol, Pagtatag!, and Simula at Wakas, the group has continued to build a musical identity that reaches beyond its original audience.

Its collaborations with international performers and appearances on global stages have further strengthened its presence in the international music landscape.

For A’TIN, the journey is not measured only by chart positions, awards, or streaming numbers. It is also reflected in the memories attached to particular songs, the stories shared among fellow fans, and the collective experiences that make supporting the group meaningful.

The release of Wakas at Simula on vinyl offers another way to preserve those memories.

A WAKAS THAT BECOMES A SIMULA

There is something particularly fitting about bringing an album titled Wakas at Simula into a format associated with timeless music and collecting.

A record may have two sides, but its meaning is not confined to the grooves pressed into it. For fans, it can represent years of following an artist, discovering new music, and being part of a community that grows alongside the performers they admire.

On November 15, SPACE at One Ayala will become a meeting place for music, memorabilia, and the shared enthusiasm of A’TIN.

Whether a fan receives a vinyl-signing opportunity, a group photograph, or an exclusive poster, the event offers a chance to celebrate another milestone in SB19’s musical journey.

Because sometimes, music is not just something we listen to.

Sometimes, it is something we keep.

SEE YOU, A’TIN! 💙
