UNIQLO is celebrating the second anniversary of its redefined Mall of Asia store with a week-long celebration that puts Filipino culture, creativity, and community at center stage.

Running from June 12 to 18, the anniversary celebration transforms the store into a space where fashion meets local storytelling, paying tribute to the everyday moments, symbols, and shared experiences that define Filipino life.
Inspired by the rhythm of the streets and the enduring spirit of community, this year’s celebration shines a spotlight on one of the country’s most iconic cultural symbols—the jeepney.
Celebrating Filipino Identity Through Art and Fashion
At the heart of the anniversary festivities is an exclusive series of experiences inspired by the colorful signboards that have become synonymous with the Filipino jeepney.
More than just decorative elements, these vibrant signages represent resilience, creativity, humor, and the unique character of everyday Filipino life.

From June 12 to 14, customers visiting UNIQLO Mall of Asia can express their own stories through UTme!, the brand’s popular customization service.
Renowned Filipino visual storyteller Kulas Jalea, together with three fellow local artists, will create personalized jeepney signboard-inspired illustrations on-site. Known for their folk-inspired artistic style, the artists transform everyday Filipino expressions into wearable pieces of art.
With limited slots available through pre-registration, customers can personalize their shirts with names, favorite sayings, or memorable phrases rendered in the unmistakable style of classic jeepney signage, making each piece truly one of a kind.

To complete the experience, every UTme! participant will receive an exclusive jeepney signage-inspired sticker pack featuring playful Filipino expressions such as “Extra Rice Please” and “Petsa de Peligro,” alongside iconic Manila-themed graphics and classic jeepney illustrations.
Customers can also personalize their favorite LifeWear pieces through RE.UNIQLO embroidery, featuring specially designed jeepney-inspired artwork that adds a uniquely Filipino touch to everyday essentials.
