A single mistake sets off a dangerous chain of events in Gold Land, a gripping new Korean crime thriller premiering April 29 exclusively on Disney+.

The series follows Heeju, a naïve airport employee whose life takes a dramatic turn after she’s unknowingly pulled into a smuggling operation. What begins as an attempt to help her boyfriend quickly spirals into chaos—leaving her on the run with a stash of gold bars and pursued by some of Korea’s most dangerous figures. With nowhere else to turn, Heeju is forced to confront the very past she fought hard to escape.
Marking the streaming series debut of acclaimed Oldboy screenwriter Hwang Joyoon, Gold Land blends high-stakes action with emotional depth, tracing one woman’s desperate fight for survival.
Leading the cast is Park Bo-young as Kim Heeju, delivering a compelling portrayal of a woman pushed to the edge, alongside Kim Sung-cheol as Woogy, a relentless operative from the criminal organization hunting her down. The series is directed by Kim Sung-hoon, known for his dynamic storytelling and cinematic vision.
Gold Land kicks off with a two-episode premiere on April 29, followed by weekly episode drops every Wednesday leading up to its finale on May 27.
