Japanese singer-songwriter Rol3ert officially dropped his debut studio album, meet me in my head, on October 21. Comprising 14 tracks performed in both Japanese and English, the album serves as a musical translation of the emotions and core values he has navigated leading up to his 20s. The record blends established fan favorites like “meaning,” “savior,” “Boy,” “Kodoku,” and “HOPE” with fresh material, including the focus track “i won’t see you anymore.” It also features the pre-release single “With you,” an international team-up with Malaysian singer-songwriter and producer Johnson that marks Rol3ert’s very first official collaboration with a Southeast Asian artist.

The album also introduces an exciting new milestone for Southeast Asian fans, as Rol3ert embarks on his first-ever promotional tour through Indonesia and the Philippines from October 28 to November 1.
Kicking off the tour in Indonesia, Rol3ert will host the Rol3ert “meet me in my head” Showcase & Fan Meet on Wednesday, October 28, at Houma Jakarta in Gunawarman. Doors open at 18:30 WIB, with the main event running from 19:00 to 20:30 WIB. The exclusive evening features live performances of his new tracks, an intimate track-by-track discussion, and a meet-and-greet session. Attendance is completely free and includes dinner plus a chance to win exclusive merchandise, though limited seating requires fans to RSVP in advance.

For the Philippine leg of his tour, Rol3ert lands in Manila today, Friday, October 30, for a series of promotional activities. His highly anticipated debut Philippine performance takes place tomorrow, Saturday, October 31, at the After Dark Halloween Party, hosted at the 4th-floor Garden of TriNoma Mall in Quezon City. Starting at 19:00 PHT, the free-admission event invites fans to lean into the Halloween spirit by dressing up as their favorite creatures from Filipino folklore.
Following his Southeast Asian stops, the singer-songwriter returns to Japan for two major headline dates on his Live Tour 2026 “meet me in my head.” He will play Osaka’s BIGCAT on November 6 and Tokyo’s Spotify O-EAST on November 12, promising full band-set performances engineered to deliver a completely fresh sonic experience compared to his previous shows.
The studio album boasts elite production credentials, having been mastered by Mike Bozzi of Bernie Grundman Mastering, known for his work on Childish Gambino’s Grammy-winning “This Is America.” The record features a rich tapestry of sounds crafted alongside a diverse lineup of producers, including Taka Perry, MONJOE, ESME MORI, Michael Kaneko, Yuto Uchino (The fin.), and JUNE. Notably, this project marks Rol3ert’s first-ever release available on physical CD alongside digital streaming platforms.
The standout track “With you” originally took shape at SONG BRIDGE 2025, a collaborative songwriting camp hosted in Kyoto in May 2025 under the MUSIC WAY PROJECT banner, making it the very first international crossover born from the initiative. Its accompanying music video, which prominently features Malaysian artist Johnson, was filmed on location in Singapore in May 2026 by a local production crew.
