From the racetrack to the basketball court, the golf course to the Formula 1 grid, PUMA continues to leave its mark on the world of sports—both locally and globally. With a strong commitment to performance, innovation, and empowering athletes, the brand proves time and again that winning goes beyond medals—it’s about breaking boundaries and fueling passion.
Here’s how PUMA is making bold moves in sports, one arena at a time:
1. Running with Purpose

PUMA hit its stride in 2021 with the launch of its RUN PUMA line, featuring NITROFOAM™ technology. This 2024, it took things further with the global “Go Wild” campaign—an invitation for runners to embrace their authentic selves and find freedom in motion.
To bring the campaign closer to home, PUMA teamed up with elite local athletes:
🏃♀️ Jonna Lina Abutas, a champion of 10k and 21k races including Women’s Run Asia and the Milo Marathon
🏃♂️ Beef Co, a top Hyrox athlete and running influencer
🇵🇭 Christine Hallasgo, 2019 SEA Games gold medalist who recently set a new personal best in China
🏃 Junel Gobotia, reigning steeplechase king, fresh from a win at the 2024 Philippine National Games
2. Owning the Hardcourt

From UAAP showdowns to NBA highlights, PUMA Hoops is dominating the basketball scene.
In 2022, the FEU Tamaraws debuted their new PUMA jerseys. By 2023, standout players from DLSU, UP, UE, UST, FEU, and Adamson became part of the PUMA Hoops Squad, making waves during the UAAP season.

Internationally, NBA star Tyrese Haliburton joined PUMA Hoops in 2024 alongside LaMelo Ball. Haliburton even debuted a player-exclusive, all-gold version of the PUMA All-Pro Nitros—a symbol of rising dominance on the court.
3. Scoring Big on the Pitch

PUMA brought renewed energy to Philippine football with its customized kits for the Philippine Men’s National Football Team (PMNFT).
During the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup, PMNFT broke a 52-year drought by defeating Thailand—while donning the striking PUMA kits made with CLOUDSPUN fabric, dryCELL tech, and 95% recycled materials. The kits paid tribute to the Filipino spirit, inspired by the team’s heritage and resilience.
4. Swinging Strong on the Greens

On the golf course, PUMA proudly supports rising stars like:
⛳ Sam Bruce – 2025 ICTSI Pradera Verde Champion, and first Filipina nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year
⛳ Miguel Tabuena – decorated Filipino golfer with 3 titles and 40 top-ten finishes on the Asian Tour
With performances like these, Bruce and Tabuena are elevating Philippine golf to new heights.
5. Racing Ahead in F1

PUMA is on pole position in Formula 1, partnering with Scuderia Ferrari and drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
Leclerc’s signature collection with PUMA features the Speedcat, Palermo, and Scuderia Ferrari HP RBD sneakers. Meanwhile, Hamilton—already a 7-time F1 champion—keeps the Speedcat legacy alive with his signature style, turning heads with every step on and off the track.
In 2023, PUMA officially became the global outfitter of Formula 1, further cementing its presence on the speedway.
6. Soaring High with Pole Vault Champions
Pole vaulting greats EJ Obiena and Mondo Duplantis are flying high in PUMA gear.
Obiena took gold in France and silver in Germany in early 2025. During the Paris 2024 Olympics, he competed wearing the PUMA Deviate NITRO™ 3.
Duplantis, meanwhile, keeps smashing world records—clearing 6.27m at the 2025 Mondo Classic and aiming for 6.40m. He continues to wear PUMA as he sets the bar higher with every jump.
PUMA: Winning at Everything, Everywhere
Whether it’s the court, track, field, pitch, or speedway—PUMA is all in. It’s not just about gear; it’s about powering performance and celebrating the spirit of every athlete.
