Quezon City, Philippines — November 15, 2025 — Gamers and fans alike packed the Level 4 Atrium of SM North EDSA Annex for an electrifying showdown at the Predator League 2025 PH Finals, where the nation’s top squads battled for glory — and a ticket to the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in India early next year.

DOTA 2: A New Champion Rises

The DOTA 2 Grand Finals, held on Saturday evening, delivered high drama. After a tense best-of-5 series that stretched into the night, the rising squad Kukuys emerged victorious, edging out defending champions Execration with a hard-fought 3–2 win.

Execration looked dominant early — powered by standout play from key veterans — but Kukuys showed resilience. Their substitute player turned up the heat, while clutch drafting and coordination from captain Carlo “Kuku” Palad sealed the reverse sweep.

With the victory, Kukuys clinch the coveted Predator Shield and secure one of the three coveted PH slots for the Asia Pacific Grand Finals — joining Execration and Team Nemesis (who secured third place after defeating Interactive Philippines).

VALORANT & LOL: PH’s Best Gear Up for Asia Pacific

The event didn’t stop with DOTA 2. On Day 2, the spotlight shifted to the FPS and MOBA community as the finals for VALORANT and, for the first time in PH Predator League history, League of Legends took center stage.

In VALORANT, established powerhouse Oasis Gaming bested up-and-comer Xipto Esports in a 3–1 series to claim the Philippine crown and the chance to represent the country at the Asia Pacific finals.

Meanwhile in League of Legends, NAOS Esports made history by capturing the very first Philippine Predator League LOL title, upsetting the favored West Point Esports – Academy in a 2–1 final.

What This Means for Philippine Esports

With the national qualifiers concluded and champions crowned, the Philippines now sends a formidable roster of representatives to the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in India. The DOTA 2 contenders (Kukuys, Execration, Team Nemesis) and VALORANT/Lol champs (Oasis Gaming, NAOS Esports) will carry the country’s hopes onto the regional stage.

The event — held at SM North EDSA Annex Atrium — not only drew a lively crowd, but also underscored the vibrant and growing esports community in the Philippines. With a combined national prize pool of ₱500,000, the stakes were high; but for many, representing the Philippines on the regional stage proved to be the greatest reward.

As the teams now turn their eyes to India, expectation builds: will the Philippines rise to dominate Asia Pacific, or will new challengers emerge?
