MPL Philippines—the country’s biggest and longest-running esports league—kicks off a bold new era with the launch of Season 17 on March 20, 2026. Marking a milestone year as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang celebrates its 10th anniversary, the new season ushers in a powerful battle cry, a brand-new home venue, and the arrival of international talent—signaling the continued rise of Filipino esports on the global stage.

A Battle Cry for a New Generation

This season rallies fans under the call “Palag na ’To!”—a phrase deeply rooted in Filipino gaming culture that embodies courage, confidence, and the willingness to take on any challenge. More than just a slogan, it reflects the relentless spirit that defines MPL PH, where players and fans alike push boundaries and embrace competition head-on.
A Bigger Stage for Esports
Season 17 also marks a major venue upgrade, as MPL PH finds its new home at Victoria Sports Tower. Located in Diliman, this state-of-the-art indoor arena offers a larger, more immersive environment for both players and fans—highlighting the league’s ongoing professionalization and its commitment to delivering world-class esports experiences.
Welcoming Global Talent
In a landmark move, MPL PH expands its international footprint with the introduction of its first overseas player imports from Indonesia—Clayton “Savero” Kuswanto and Sultan “AeronnShikii” Muhammad. Their arrival underscores the league’s growing reputation as a regional hub for top-tier talent and strengthens the Philippines’ position as a global powerhouse in MLBB esports.
According to Lee Viloria, the season is both a celebration and a stepping stone: a tribute to the passionate Filipino community that has shaped MLBB over the past decade, and a glimpse into an even bigger future for the league.
Eight Weeks of High-Stakes Action
The Season 17 Regular Season runs from March 20 to May 17, 2026, featuring eight weeks of intense competition among the country’s top teams. Matches will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a double round-robin format, with playoff spots on the line.
The season opener sets the tone with a marquee clash between Aurora Gaming and Team Liquid Philippines—two powerhouse teams fresh from their victories at the M7 World Championship and the MLBB Mid-Season Cup at the Esports World Cup 2025.

Elevated Fan Experience
Fans can immerse themselves deeper into the action with the Team Season Pass, offering exclusive perks such as reserved seating, in-game rewards, meet-and-greets, and priority access to post-match interactions.
Onsite, the return of the MPL Playground brings interactive fan zones and community-driven events, including tournaments like Infinix FANSIKLABAN, where fans can compete and represent their favorite teams.
Meanwhile, the Smart Battle Trips program continues to inspire the next generation by offering students behind-the-scenes insights into esports—from broadcasting and journalism to event management and content creation.
Powered by Partnerships

Season 17 also introduces new collaborations, including a landmark partnership with Fairrie—the league’s first international jewellery partner, known for crafting championship rings for esports tournaments.
Returning partners such as TT Racing and Clear continue to enhance both broadcast and on-ground experiences, bringing fans closer to the action through activations, giveaways, and community engagement.
The Next Chapter Begins
With a new home, global talent, and a renewed spirit, MPL PH Season 17 is more than just another season—it’s a defining moment for Filipino esports.
As the battle cry echoes—Palag na ’To!—the stage is set for players, teams, and fans to push beyond limits and shape the next chapter of competitive gaming in the Philippines.
