Featuring SOYEON of i-dle, Coco Jones, Vic Mensa, and Sofía Reyes, Live Performance at the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard in New York on November 14 at Barclays Center
Riot Games has announced the return of League of Legends’ virtual hip-hop collective True Damage, which will perform the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Anthem, “Know My Name” (Riot Games/Virgin Music Group). Marking the 13th Worlds Anthem to date, the track will be available on all major streaming platforms beginning Thursday, October 8, at 6:00 p.m. PT, alongside the premiere of its official music video on the League of Legends YouTube channel. Fans can pre-save the track HERE.

True Damage is a boundary-pushing hip-hop collective within the expanding roster of groundbreaking virtual artists from the iconic League of Legends universe. The group brings together five beloved in-game champions, each with a distinct sound, style, and global influence: Akali (rapper), Ekko (rapper), Qiyana (vocalist and rapper), Senna (vocalist), and Yasuo (DJ and producer).
“Know My Name” marks True Damage’s first release since its 2019 breakout single, “GIANTS”, which has amassed more than 230 million streams across platforms. Since then, the members have pursued individual creative paths, developing their own identities and influences beyond the collective. Now, they reunite to celebrate the ambition, individuality, and competitive spirit at the heart of Worlds—and the journey it takes to reach the biggest stage.
Following record-breaking years of anthem collaborations with global artists, including NewJeans, Linkin Park, and Chinese superstar G.E.M., this marks the first time one of Riot Games’ virtual artist groups will perform the Worlds Anthem. Each member contributes a distinct background and musical influence, creating a sound that is globally inspired yet unmistakably True Damage.
Combining raw grit, global culture, and an evolved hip-hop sound, “Know My Name” captures the intensity of competition and the relentless determination required to reach the top. True Damage returns not simply in pursuit of fame, but to make an impact, delivering a Worlds Anthem that celebrates the diverse journeys players take to make their names known.
An all-star lineup of international artists will bring True Damage to life for its 2026 comeback: SOYEON of i-dle returns as Akali, Coco Jones takes on the role of Senna, Vic Mensa voices Ekko, and Sofía Reyes portrays Qiyana.
“The Worlds anthem is the music moment that League players look forward to the most each year, and with Worlds coming to New York this year, True Damage felt like the perfect artist to take on the anthem,” said Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games. “Much like our host city, True Damage has always been about bringing together distinct voices, styles, and cultures to create something unique and bigger than the sum of its parts. That spirit feels especially fitting for Worlds, where the best teams and players from around the globe come together to make their mark. For our most dedicated players and esports fans, the League Champs in our virtual bands are the superstars they most want to see on the Worlds stage.”
“It’s such an honor to be part of True Damage again, especially for this year’s Worlds anthem,” said SOYEON, who returns as the voice of Akali. “I can’t wait to see the reactions of League’s fans when they hear the song. I’m really excited to create an amazing opening ceremony with all the League players and fans.”
“I’m so excited to be stepping into the League of Legends universe with True Damage alongside Vic Mensa, Sofía Reyes, and SOYEON,” shared Coco Jones. “I absolutely love finding new ways to connect with people through music, and this collaboration is unlike anything I’ve done before, so it’s major. Riot has really created this incredible world where music and storytelling come to life, and being able to bring my own style and energy into that has been so much fun.”
“League of Legends is a behemoth franchise that’s producing some of the largest events in the world, so I’m excited to join the universe,” added Vic Mensa. “I had a lot of fun stepping into Ekko’s world, diving into his story, and finding ways to bring some of that into my verse. I can’t wait for fans to hear the track and see what we’ve created.”
“I think this is an incredible opportunity to grow, connect with new people, and experience new cultures. It has been such a unique experience, and hearing so many different languages come together in one song is beautiful,” said Sofía Reyes. “It also brought out a fiery side of me that you don’t usually hear in my music, so I hope you enjoy it! It’s truly an honor to be part of something so big.”
