Excitement hit a fever pitch on June 12 as fans flocked to participating Puregold stores nationwide for the opening day of ticket sales for Puregold’s OPM Con Generations. The surge of eager concertgoers—some even camping out overnight—set the tone for what is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated OPM events of the year.

Set to take place on July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, OPM Con Generations returns for its third year with a powerhouse lineup that reflects the vibrant diversity of today’s Filipino music scene. Headlining the show are SB19, Ben&Ben, Alamat, Flow G, Skusta Clee, Sunkissed Lola, G22, KAIA, and Xonara—an eclectic mix of artists spanning P-pop, hip-hop, indie, and OPM favorites.
Ticket-selling locations stretched across key areas including Taytay, Biñan, Anabu-Imus, Valenzuela, Quezon City, Manila, Parañaque, Cainta, and San Pedro—each buzzing with fans determined to secure their spot at the much-awaited concert.
Among the first in line was Beverly Jane, a devoted A’TIN who, יחד with fellow fans, camped overnight at Puregold QI Central.

“Super excited na for the concert kasi pinila talaga namin ito. Nandito na kami since 7 last night,” she shared. Despite the long wait, Beverly noted that the experience remained comfortable, with food, drinks, and a well-ventilated waiting area provided for those in line.
She also expressed gratitude for Puregold’s continued support of Filipino music. “Thank you so much sa Puregold dahil malaking platform ito para sa OPM. Sobrang supportive nito hindi lang sa SB19 kundi sa buong P-pop community.”
The overwhelming turnout on day one highlighted the event’s cross-generational appeal. Fans of all ages came together, united by a shared love for OPM and the artists shaping its future.

Sixty-two-year-old Suzette Santiago is one such fan. A proud supporter of SB19 since 2024, she shared how being part of the fandom—and attending events like OPM Con Generations—keeps her feeling young.
“Whenever I listen to their music, may message talaga, and that’s what draws me to them,” she said. “It’s so nice that Puregold is doing this because it’s encouraging to see our OPM industry continue to rise. Sana tuloy-tuloy lang.”
For Arnel Lamber, who also lined up the night before, the experience was more than worth it. Alongside his regular grocery purchases, he successfully secured a ticket to the concert.

“Thankful ako sa Puregold kasi nakaka-experience kami ng ganito. Kahit puyat, okay lang kasi masaya naman,” he shared.
Puregold, for its part, welcomed the strong response with appreciation and optimism.
“The response we’ve seen so far has been overwhelming,” said Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Senior Marketing Manager of Puregold Price Club Inc. “It’s remarkable to see so many customers excited not only about the concert, but also about being part of the experience through Puregold. We look forward to welcoming even more concertgoers as ticket-selling continues.”

For many, the chance to score highly sought-after concert tickets while doing their grocery shopping adds a unique layer of excitement to the experience. And with weeks to go before showtime, anticipation continues to build for a night that promises to celebrate Filipino music, talent, and community like never before.
