Jollibee Foods Corporation, also known as the Jollibee Group, has been recognized as one of four recipients of the Multi-Year Excellence Award by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), honoring the company’s consistent excellence in people management and its enduring contributions to advancing workplace and people practices in the country.
The prestigious recognition was conferred during the 50th PMAP Awards Night on October 22 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, held in conjunction with the 63rd PMAP Annual Conference.
Part of the special Golden Jubilee Awards commemorating the 50-year legacy of the PMAP Awards, the Multi-Year Excellence Award recognizes organizations that have secured at least three PMAP Awards victories over the years, demonstrating a sustained commitment to outstanding people management.
For the Jollibee Group, this latest distinction celebrates nearly three decades of achievements in nurturing talent, supporting employees, and continuously strengthening its people management practices.
Nearly three decades of people management recognition
The Jollibee Group’s latest accolade builds on three previous PMAP recognitions, beginning with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s first Employer of the Year Award in 1998.
More than two decades later, the company once again received the Employer of the Year Award in 2024, recognizing its effective people management strategies and their positive impact on organizational performance.
In the same year, Arsenio Sabado, Global Chief Human Resources Officer of Jollibee Group, was named PMAP’s People Manager of the Year, honoring his leadership and significant contributions to the people management profession.
Together, these three achievements established the foundation for the Jollibee Group’s Multi-Year Excellence Award, underscoring the company’s long-standing commitment to investing in its people and fostering a workplace culture that evolves alongside its business.
