The Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit, the most prominent celebration of video games, esports, technology, and gaming pop culture in the Philippines, has reached a significant milestone in 2023. In its 10th edition since its inception in 2014, the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) is introducing fresh features and exciting surprises to this year’s event. This is made possible with the support of its main presenter, Globe Telecom, and the return of the platinum exhibitor, Samsung, for a major gaming convention comeback.

Globe, in a reaffirmation of its dedication to the ever-evolving gaming community, returns as the main presenter of the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) for the second consecutive year. The highly-anticipated event is scheduled to take place at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from November 3 to 5, 2023. This year, the ESGS Marketplace has been enhanced, featuring an expanded roster of merchants and artists selling their creations. Additionally, the Astra Arena, introduced last year, makes its return with eagerly anticipated tournaments, including the Valorant tournament, JBL Quantum League, and the highly awaited League of Legends comeback tournament, the LoL Empyrean Cup.
Introducing the ESGS Creator Grants
As part of the 10th-year milestone celebration, ESGS is expressing gratitude to the community that has played a pivotal role in shaping the event into what it is today. In collaboration with Globe Telecom, ESGS 2023 introduces the Creator Grant program, which extends rewards and incentives to diverse creators in the gaming realm, including Independent Game Developers, Cosplayers, and Artists and Merchants. The ESGS 2023 Creator Grants are designed to recognize and inspire local creators to persist in their creative endeavors, offering rewards and incentives of up to PHP 500,000. Additionally, Lenovo Legion has joined forces with Globe to support the Independent Game Developer Grant, benefiting a fortunate participant in Indie Fest.
