Enna and Geo Team Up for Eco-Friendly Fun in “Enna You Know!”

The show makes its official broadcast debut this Wednesday, September 16, on DepEd TV via Knowledge Channel.

From wasting water to leaving electronics plugged in, minor daily habits take a massive toll on the environment. “Enna You Know!”, the latest educational series from Knowledge Channel, helps students recognize these impacts and gives them actionable, simple ways to practice eco-friendly living.

Debuting today (Wednesday, September 16) on the Knowledge Channel-powered DepEd TV block, the four-part series introduces viewers to a curious teenager named Enna (played by Zavinna Badena). Throughout the short series, Enna discovers various environmental issues affecting both her own household and her broader neighborhood, prompting her to look for solutions. 

Seeking clarity, Enna consults her older brother Geo (played by Benedix Ramos), a field-based environmental scientist who breaks down the science behind her discoveries and offers doable fixes. Their onscreen sibling chemistry and insightful chats aim to inspire young viewers to seamlessly weave sustainable habits into their own daily routines. 

Geared toward Grade 9 and 10 high school students, the show delivers creative lessons on climate action, sustainability, and energy saving. It skips the rigid lectures to present these vital environmental issues in a fresh, relatable format.

The series is a collaborative production developed by Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) alongside the Department of Education (DepEd), Makesense Asia, Schneider Electric Philippines, and the Schneider Electric Foundation. 

This educational project serves as a core component of “Project Shaping Energy”—a joint initiative dedicated to fostering sustainability awareness and energy literacy across public high schools nationwide.

According to KCFI Vice President Edric Calma, instructional series like “Enna You Know!” are vital in helping students grasp complex scientific concepts. Calma added that such programming is key to cultivating a deeper sense of environmental responsibility among today’s youth.

“Ang investment po sa education, katulad ng mga ginawa nating video lessons na ito, ay makabuluhan at sustainable. Taun-taon, ilang mga bata ang matututo ng science nang maayos at magmamahal sa ating kalikasan dahil sa mga videos na ito,” he said. 

Marking the show’s debut, KCFI and its co-creators handed over complete educational toolkits featuring all four episodes to Science instructors within the DepEd Schools Division Office of Rizal. The resource turnover equips local educators with multimedia tools to bring eco-literacy directly to their classrooms.

Students and parents can catch “Enna You Know!” three times a week on Knowledge Channel’s DepEd TV block, airing every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The episodes rollout at 4:00 PM for high school learners, with a nightly replay running at 10:40 PM for those who missed the afternoon broadcast.
