Solaire Resort Entertainment City, the Philippines’ first integrated resort and a Forbes Travel Guide 5-star awardee for nine consecutive years, has officially launched its Career Talks Program—a new initiative aimed at guiding students toward successful careers in hospitality.

Through this program, Solaire brings its industry-leading expertise straight to the classroom. Students are given the unique opportunity to hear directly from Solaire’s senior leaders about the latest trends in hospitality, emerging roles, and valuable advice for entering the competitive workforce. The talks also showcase Solaire Resort as a top employer in the industry.
The Career Talks Program features a series of interactive sessions across various colleges and universities. Recent events were held at the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) Manila and the International School for Hotel and Restaurant Management (ISHRM). Esteemed speakers included Vice President of Culinary Sebastian Kellerhoff, Vice President of F&B Samuel Wilkes, Director of Housekeeping Jessica Sonmez, Beverage Manager Sedfrey Figueroa, and Call Center & Reservations Manager Judy Ty.
Students actively participated in panel discussions, open forums, and Q&A segments, gaining firsthand insights from seasoned professionals who lead some of the most dynamic departments in the resort.
The next leg of the Career Talks Program will take place on May 6 at the University of Santo Tomas.
