First all-electric Toyota in the country to arrive in December
The All-New bZ4X, Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) first-ever Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) under the Toyota brand, is generating buzz among eager customers anticipating its official launch in the country.
Since the reservation period opened on November 7, TMP dealers have reported a surge of inquiries, reflecting strong public interest in the vehicle.
“We are thrilled by the positive reception to the local release of the bZ4X,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto. “A top question from customers is the EV’s range. While consumption and range depend on driving conditions and habits, the bZ4X has been registered with a 570 km EV range based on internationally accepted Fuel Consumption Test Protocol under UN Regulations No. 101.”
The Philippines will receive the Japan-sourced bZ4X, further adding to TMP’s already extensive lineup of electrified vehicles. TMP currently offers the widest selection of hybrid and battery electric models in the country, including electrified sedans, MPVs, SUVs, and vans under both Toyota and Lexus. Notably, Lexus introduced TMP’s first BEV, the Lexus RZ, in 2023.

The All-New Toyota bZ4X is an all-wheel drive (AWD) BEV SUV powered by a 73.11 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering a maximum output of 343 PS and max torque of 338 Nm—blending eco-conscious driving with performance and style.
