AirAsia Philippines Heats Up Rainy Season with Beef Sinigang_1

As the rainy season rolls in across the Philippines, AirAsia Philippines is bringing heartwarming comfort and Filipino nostalgia to the skies with the launch of its Q3 2025 Santan inflight menu—featuring the beloved rainy-day favorite, Beef Sinigang.

This iconic dish, known for its tender beef simmered in tangy tamarind broth with fresh vegetables, is often a staple at home during cold weather. Now, travelers can enjoy its familiar warmth 30,000 feet in the air, transforming every flight into a taste of home.

“Rainy days bring a different kind of travel experience. It’s an opportunity to provide even more comfort through something as simple as food,” said Capt. Suresh Bangah, CEO and President of AirAsia Philippines. “Our inflight menu constantly evolves to remain inclusive. With every warm dish like Beef Sinigang, we’re finding new ways to bring the feeling closer to home.”

To complement the savory goodness, AirAsia is also serving up a nostalgic twist with two refreshing drinks: Buko Pandan Milk and Buko Pandan Latte. The milk version is a creamy, tropical blend of young coconut and fragrant pandan, while the latte adds a gentle coffee kick to the classic flavor. Both drinks are available onboard for PHP170.

Aiming to connect communities and cultures with every flight, AirAsia continues to enhance its Santan inflight menu each quarter with fresh and comforting flavors. All dishes in the Q3 2025 lineup are Halal-certified, ensuring inclusivity for a wide range of dietary preferences.

Whether you’re escaping the rain or chasing new adventures, AirAsia’s new menu promises a comforting journey from takeoff to touchdown.
