AirAsia Wednesday Castings

AirAsia Philippines is taking a bold step toward inclusivity and innovation by transforming the way it recruits cabin crew, breaking away from traditional stereotypes and putting the spotlight on skills, talent, and attitude.

From August 20 to 29, 2025, every Wednesday between 10 AM and 12 NN, the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline will welcome aspiring cabin crew members in a more approachable and cost-friendly setup. Gone are the days of formal business attire and heavy makeup. Instead, male candidates may come in a white t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, while female applicants may wear a white shirt, denim skirt, and heels.

The new process immerses applicants in a realistic, service-oriented environment, shifting away from the usual “runway-style” screenings. Candidates will also be introduced to the Allstar culture, offering them a glimpse of the fun, safe, and inclusive life of AirAsia’s cabin crew even before they take off in their careers.

“We are reimagining the way we recruit by focusing on what truly matters—talent, attitude, and skills. Beyond safety, which is always our top priority, we want our cabin crew to thrive in a fun, diverse, and inclusive work environment. By changing the game, we aim to support the meaningful journeys of aspiring cabin crew who deserve to live their sky-high dreams,” said Suresh Bangah, CEO of AirAsia Philippines.

Applicants are required to bring an updated CV or resume, a recent non-AI-generated photo, and must meet the minimum height requirement proportionate to their Body Mass Index (BMI). While college graduates are encouraged to apply, senior high school graduates are also welcome, with proficiency in English, Filipino, or other languages considered an advantage.

This marks the fourth open recruitment of AirAsia Philippines in 2025, following three successful batches earlier this year. The initiative continues to expand opportunities for more aspiring Allstars as the airline prepares for its growing cabin crew needs.
