Kick Ass and Hit Girl are back in action in the sequel of the first Kick Ass movie!
I was invited to the Press VIP Premiere of Kick-Ass 2 at the new Promenade Cinema 8 this August 12, 2013.
I have not seen the first installment. If you have not seen the first Kick Ass movie, don’t worry since you will still enjoy this sequel. I did. You can read the wiki synopsis of the original Kick Ass movie for a bit of background info like I did. Or better yet watch the first one since a lot of my blogger friends highly recommends it.
Kick Ass 2 is an action comedy movie that entertains you with lots of comedy and lots of action. The action scene is quite violent that’s why it rated R-16. It’s not that gory though just a lot of extreme fight scenes. Even Jim Carrey who stars in the movie backed out supporting the movie after the Sandy Hook massacre which created some controversy. Anyways, we are big boys so we know what is a movie and what is real. The movie in the end discouraged violence anyways.
I highly recommend the movie for its entertainment value and give it a 5/5 rating. It’s really worth your entertainment budget!
By the way, I recommend the Promenade Cinema 8 as well. Before they showed the trailers & the movie, there was a short demo of Dolby Atmos sound system and it’s really impressive.
