FUJIFILM LAUNCHES SMARTPHONE PRINTER “INSTAX MINI LINK”

FUJIFILM recently launched its smartphone printer the mini Link last October 2 through its social media platforms. It’s the latest must-have item from Fujifilm Instax that enhances the way you bond with people through its interactive features.

The mini Link app allows basic photo editing such as resizing photos, adjusting settings, and applying filters before printing. It also supports continuous printing and can print about 100 photos per charge, perfect for your barkada parties. Guests had to use the mini Links Match Test feature, with whoever they randomly paired with.

Each group of 4 had to get creative with their photos by using the mini links party print feature. This makes it a compact tool to bring around as you look for your next photo destination––or even just a regular day with your friends and family.

The media launch showcased an interesting engagement for the guests to experience the features from up above––The Roof of Joy Nostalg Center. Event host Rica G facilitated the entire launch, and the program kicked off with an opening speech from Fujifilm Philippines’ President––Ryo Nagaoka.

Then came the games! The first required everyone to group themselves into two. Guests had to use the mini Link’s Match Test feature, with whoever they randomly paired with. We chose the pair with the highest compatibility for the Quick Diagnosis setting to go on stage and do a Precision Diagnosis.

Don’t just take, give.

The mini Link plays a large role as a communication tool that lets people express their feelings by printing images from their smartphones while being an entertainment printer that makes hanging out more fun.

More About the mini Link

Just like the Instax Series, the new mini Link can produce high-quality prints in an instant, with the help of the app. The app offers additional functions such as Video Print, allows you to choose and print a specific time-frame in a video; Match Test examines the compatibility between friends or someone special and shows compatibility by percentage.

The Match Test has 2 modes: a.) Quick Diagnosis, which allows you to instantly test the compatibility of two persons in a selected image; and b.) Precision Diagnosis, which involves answering a series of questions apart from taking a photo, for greater accuracy; and Party Print, enables a maximum of five people to connect to the device and send in their photos before combining it all into one Instax print.

They do not limit the printer to smartphone users since the mini Link also caters to X and GFX Series users through the FUJIFILM Camera Remote app, which can transfer data to the mini Link app.
