Camerahaus Photo Festival 2019

Camerahaus rocked BGC Amphitheater on the weekend as they gave away various prizes for the annual Photo Festival.

Not to mention the joint effort of the partners of the company namely; Fujifilm, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic Lumix, and GoPro; as well as Zhiyun, 7 Artisans, Abacus, Picturebook, Adata, and the Lightroom. Also the commendable sponsorship of Boya and Saramonic.

Embodying certain provinces, the six major partners set up booths with colorful tardemarks of that place; the festival surged as a treat to every photographers and vloggers alike. Armed with hip Filipino games such as tumbang preso, luksong tinik, patintero, kadang-kadang, sipa, and piko that will surely make you reminisce your childhood days.

The searing weather did nothing to stop the fun as Camerahaus served refreshments still under their theme; they gave away taho, kape’t pandesal for breakfast; ice candy, sorbetes, fishballs, turon, and sago’t gulaman for the mirienda in both days. Nikon even took its initiative to give away free halo-halo to everyone in Day one.

Nonstop fun was served as raffle prizes gets claimed every once in a while with happy faces and good vibes swirling all around, some took home a brand new Boya or Saramonic microphone; some are stabilizers; or if extremely lucky, a brand new camera with few more accessories added. However, not only the raffle prices are awaited but also the huge discount deal you could catch that will only be offered within the event.

Adding to the occasion is the partnership of the Manila Broadcasting Company in awarding the winners of the best photos in their Aliwan Awards event.

Educational as well as exciting, a line up of workshops was scheduled for the whole two days; and some times at the same time. The floor opens for speakers; ambassadors from each brand sharing their techniques in photography and vlogging, and answers few questions within their time.

The whole two day festival was a huge success, according to sir Sia himself, it was their way to give back to their loyal customers; as well as the need of engagement of more than just buying and selling products. It is the shared passion that made this event a huge success.

It was a lucky day for everyone indeed, as Camerahaus celebrates its 21st year; its Vice President Mr. Robenson Ong Lo also celebrated his birthday in line with the event, adding more prices and more joy to this special occasion.

It was an event always anticipated by patrons of the store and as well the enthusiast of the field if not practitioners. This year another event is set to happen on the last Saturday of November as another annual Photolympics commenced brought to you by Camerahaus.
