Part of the celebrations has always been supporting those in need through the Power of Clothing

UNIQLO continues to champion the spirit of its annual Thank You Festival beyond promotions, bringing its sustainability philosophy, The Power of Clothing, to life by supporting communities in need throughout the year.

The Thank You Festival is UNIQLO’s global expression of gratitude to customers, marked by exclusive offers and special promotions. But beyond the celebrations, the brand extends its commitment to inclusivity and circularity by reaching out to underserved communities and those affected by disasters, reinforcing its vision of a more sustainable and compassionate society.

Throughout the year, UNIQLO rolled out meaningful initiatives aligned with its sustainability goals. During the November Thank You Festival, the brand donated 1,500 AIRism shirts to pineapple plantation farmers in Bukidnon, in partnership with Del Monte Philippines as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. The collaboration also featured limited-edition UTme! designs and Del Monte–inspired beverages at UNIQLO Coffee, including Pineapple Yuzu Iced Tea and Pineapple Chocolate.

Strengthening its commitment to circular fashion, UNIQLO expanded its RE.UNIQLO Studio network with a new opening at SM Mall of Asia. RE.UNIQLO Studio offers repair and customization services that extend the life of both new and pre-loved UNIQLO items, encouraging mindful consumption. The studio also supports UNIQLO’s recycling initiatives through in-store donation bins, where pre-loved clothing is collected for community support and disaster relief. This holiday season, UNIQLO relaunched its RE.UNIQLO donation drive in partnership with SOS Children’s Village, supporting children without parental care and families at risk, particularly those affected by calamities.

UNIQLO has also been actively involved in disaster response efforts nationwide. Following the September earthquake in Cebu, the brand partnered with SM Foundation to distribute 4,000 AIRism items to affected communities in Bogo City and provided hygiene kits to over 800 individuals. Additional relief efforts saw 5,500 AIRism items distributed to communities impacted by Super Typhoon Uwan and Typhoon Tino across Cebu, Bacolod, and Aurora. UNIQLO also extended support to more than 300 Cebu-based employees and their families affected by these disasters. To further aid recovery, the brand donated PHP 3 million to SM Foundation to fund essential relief resources, including hygiene kits, clean drinking water, and school repairs.

As relief efforts continued, UNIQLO donated over 3,000 AIRism items to disaster-affected families in Davao in partnership with ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya. More than 10,000 AIRism pieces were also distributed nationwide to public school teachers through collaborations with BDO Foundation and the Department of Education. Closing the year, UNIQLO is set to support additional relief initiatives in Cebu, providing around 3,000 AIRism items and 4,000 pieces of pre-loved clothing from RE.UNIQLO donations.

Through these sustained efforts, UNIQLO reinforces its role as an active and responsible community partner, demonstrating how clothing can inspire change, uplift lives, and create lasting impact.
