“It’s Showtime” reached another milestone last Saturday (December 6) as it unveiled its first-ever “It’s Showtime AWAAARD”—a playful awards segment celebrating the hosts’ most unforgettable on-air moments in honor of the show’s 16th anniversary.

The fun-filled presentation was led by Ryan Bang, Jackie Gonzaga, and guest host Barbie Forteza, alongside a roster of guest presenters that included Angeline Quinto, Chanda Romero, Gus Abelgas, Kyline Alcantara, Negi, Iyah Mina, Petite, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr, and Klarisse De Guzman.

Early highlights had the madlang people laughing out loud, starting with the “HA? Hakdog Award,” given to Anne Curtis and Jhong Hilario for their iconic on-air mispronunciations. Vhong Navarro took home the “Sablay Supremacy Award” for his string of unforgettable on-camera slip-ups, while Jugs Jugueta earned the “Dress in Piece Award” for his bold fashion moments—most notably his viral Fuji Apple outfit.
The show also poked fun at jokes that didn’t quite land through the “Natutulog Ba, Nag-Joke Award,” awarded to Kim Chiu and Ryan Bang. Meanwhile, Ogie Alcasid and Jackie Gonzaga were recognized with the “G na Gina Alajar Award” for always being game for any challenge thrown their way.
Vice Ganda was honored with the “Glow Up Award,” while the powerhouse hosting trio—Vice, Vhong, and Jhong—received the “Physical Hosting Award” for their signature high-energy banter and antics. Vhong also clinched the “Words of Wisdom Award” for his now-iconic line, “Crush is paghanga.”

One of the most heartfelt moments of the segment came with the “Cry ’Yan Cayabyab Award,” which recognized Vice Ganda, Ion Perez, and Ryan Bang for bringing genuine emotion to the show. Vice took the opportunity to thank viewers, describing the madlang people as the program’s “safe space.”

The AWAAARD ceremony capped a weeklong anniversary celebration that showcased themed performances across MagRAPasikat, MagPOPsikat, DANCEpasikat, ROCKpasikat, and DRAGpasikat—highlighting “It’s Showtime’s” enduring commitment to variety, creativity, and community connection.
