The track serves as a powerful reminder, inspiring listeners to know their worth and refuse to settle for being someone’s second choice.

Kapamilya singer-songwriter Trisha Denise captures the defining moment of reclaiming one’s self-worth in her latest single, “Just In Case.” Released under StarPop, the track explores the painful emotional gray area of being treated as someone’s fallback option, serving as an empowering anthem about choosing self-respect over settling for less.
Musically, the song seamlessly blends contemporary pop sensibilities with smooth R&B undertones. Trisha penned the bilingual Filipino-English track herself, with production helmed by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, alongside supervising producer and StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
Solidifying her reputation as one of the local music scene’s most prolific contemporary singer-songwriters, Trisha continues to build an impressive catalog. She previously rolled out her debut studio album Piece of the Puzzle in 2021, followed by her six-track EP Simula ng Wakas in 2023, which featured the track “Mas Mabuti Pa.” Her songwriting credits also extend to prominent cinematic and television soundtracks, including “Mahalaga” from the film Between Maybes, and “Bakit Naman Hindi?” from the Philippine adaptation of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.
Earlier this year, she joined forces with hitmakers Thyro Alfaro and Soc Villanueva to co-write and release “‘Di Minamadali,” a soul-R&B collaborative single. To support that release, she recently dropped a live performance video for the track on ABS-CBN Star Music’s The Playroom channel on YouTube.
