The Alibi is the number one show on Prime Video Philippines

ABS-CBN’s newest mystery-romance thriller The Alibi, starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, made a fiery debut on Prime Video Philippines—instantly claiming the #1 spot when it premiered on November 7.

Viewers immediately praised the lead stars for fearlessly embracing their boldest roles yet. One of the most viral highlights from the pilot week is Stella’s (Kim Chiu) captivating pole-dance performance—an intense, sensual moment that sets the tone for her electric, tension-filled encounter with Vincent (Paulo Avelino), who watches her with a mix of desire and danger.

The Alibi now marks the duo’s second consecutive number-one series on the platform, following the massive success of Linlang, solidifying Kim and Paulo as one of today’s most compelling on-screen pairings.

The first two episodes deliver a rapid cascade of twists, beginning with the shocking murder of Walter (Sam Milby)—Vincent’s rival at their family-run news agency and the same man entangled in a secret, explosive affair with Claudia (Sofia Andres), Vincent’s wife.

The series also introduces Stella’s complex world as an ex-convict and escort trying to rebuild her life. Her fate dramatically shifts when she accepts Vincent’s one-million-peso offer to serve as his alibi in the ongoing investigation, where he is the prime suspect. What begins as a cold transaction soon spirals into a dangerous labyrinth of desire, deception, and emotional entanglement.

As lies unravel and hidden truths rise to the surface, Vincent and Stella find themselves trapped in a web that threatens to crush their fragile connection—and expose everything they hoped to bury.

Uncover every twist and secret in The Alibi, streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
