Instituto Cervantes de Manila, in partnership with the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines, the University of the Philippines – Diliman, and several cultural collaborators, will present Lo bueno, si breve, a special Spanish microfiction workshop led by acclaimed Spanish author Lorena Escudero.

The sessions will be held on:
August 27, 2025 – 2:00 p.m. | University of the Philippines – Diliman
August 28, 2025 – 5:00 p.m. | Instituto Cervantes de Manila (Makati branch)

Celebrating the Art of Brevity

Designed for students and young writers, the workshop will focus on the expressive power of brevity in creative writing. Through hands-on exercises, Escudero will guide participants in mastering the techniques of crafting microrrelatos (very short stories) that are both concise and impactful.
