SM Cares Takes Lead in Pink October 2025 Campaign

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SM Cares—the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of SM Supermalls—brought communities together across the country through Pink October 2025, a month-long campaign dedicated to early detection, awareness, and support for breast cancer warriors, survivors, and advocates.

The nationwide celebration kicked off with the pink illumination of the SM Mall of Asia Globe and The Cube at SM Seaside City Cebu, glowing symbols of solidarity and hope for thousands of women and families affected by breast cancer. The iconic structures served as powerful reminders of SM’s long-standing commitment to women’s health and empowerment.

Throughout October, SM Seaside City Cebu and SM City Cebu hosted a series of purposeful and uplifting activities, including free breast examinations, a Pink Cancer Chat with survivors and advocates, a Pink Fashion Runway, a Pink Tote Exhibit, and a Pink Healing Mass—underscoring the importance of holistic healing, both physical and emotional, in the journey toward recovery.

In Mindanao, SM City Davao marked Pink October on October 9 in partnership with the Rotary Club of Downtown Davao, the City Government of Davao, and Breast Friends, a local support group for survivors. The celebration featured the unveiling of the Pink Ribbon, the launch of the Pink Pop-Up Fair with Watsons and wellness partners, free breast cancer screenings, health forums, safety drills, and a lively Pink Runway and Zumba event where survivors and advocates confidently walked in upcycled fashion creations by local designers.

Through Pink October, SM Cares continues to stand with every woman, survivor, and advocate in the fight against breast cancer. The Pink October campaign highlights how SM Supermalls brings Filipinos together for meaningful causes—creating a nationwide wave of courage, compassion, and empowerment that shines bright in pink.
