The acclaimed creative agency Secret Menu significantly contributed to the remarkable triumph of the “Nostalgia Meets the Future: Ayala Avenue New Year’s Eve Countdown to 2024.” Celebrating the 24th anniversary since the iconic turn-of-the-millennium celebration on Ayala Avenue, this event serves as a testament to Makati City’s steadfast commitment to hosting elaborate New Year’s Eve festivities.

The theme “Nostalgia Meets the Future” guided attendees through a musical journey, seamlessly intertwining the nostalgia of the original 1999 celebration with the vibrant performances of P-Pop sensation SB19, Sponge Cola, Al James, Gab Pangilinan, and Myke Salomon. Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, returning to the same stage she graced in 1999 for the Millennium countdown, completed a full circle, enchanting partygoers with an unforgettable performance.

Secret Menu’s involvement propelled the event to a global scale by orchestrating a livestream, expanding the celebration’s reach and engaging audiences beyond physical boundaries. This livestream included viewers celebrating at home, out-of-town enthusiasts, and homesick Filipinos abroad. In addition to the 130K on-ground attendees in Makati’s Central Business District, the livestream garnered 330K views and enabled the event to reach 4.7M people across social media platforms.

The fruitful collaboration further strengthened Secret Menu’s partnership with Ayala Land and Make It Makati, originally forged through the annual holiday showcase, “Festival of Lights,” held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens.

“This event underscored Secret Menu’s adaptability, seamlessly connecting nostalgia with the futuristic demands of our time,” remarked General Manager Bianca Balbuena, emphasizing the agency’s ability to offer event and live landscape management alongside branded content. “We are enthusiastic about serving new partners seeking innovative suppliers to elevate their content and experiences to new heights.”
