Thrilling developments set for 2027 season to be announced in Race Weekend 4

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is set to stage the fourth and final race weekend of the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup season on October 22–24 at Clark International Speedway in Mabalacat, Pampanga. The event is open to the public, with FREE admission for all motorsports fans.

The season finale promises even more excitement, as the races will offer double points, challenging drivers to push their limits and secure their positions on the podium. Leading the standings after Race Weekend 3 are Red Diwa in the Super Sporting Class, Bern Zaragoza in the Sporting Class, and Iñigo Anton in the Tamaraw Class.

Beyond the sprint and endurance races, fans can enjoy a variety of interactive activities, including a remote-control (RC) track and simulator racing rigs. Automotive enthusiasts looking to upgrade their rides can explore the sponsors’ booths, while fans wanting to refresh their style can check out the latest collection of official GAZOO Racing merchandise.

Fans who have followed the TGR Philippine Cup can also look forward to an exciting 2027 season, with a new addition expected to bring even more thrills to the series. Further details will be revealed during Race Weekend 4.

“We hope the developments we are planning for the 2027 season will attract new motorsports fans,” shared TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial. “It has always been our mantra at TGR Philippines to continue pushing the limits for better not just for the activities we are already doing, but also when looking for new ways to bring the thrill closer to Filipino motorsport fans,” she added.

Race Weekend 4 of the 2026 TGR Philippine Cup will also be livestreamed on the official TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Facebook Page.

Since Race Weekend 2 in July, the TGR Philippine Cup has served as a “rolling laboratory,” when TMP first introduced low-carbon biofuels to the One-Make Races (OMR) for the Vios and Tamaraw. As part of the initiative, TMP has been testing E20 fuel, a blend containing 20% bioethanol, in the Vios, and B5 fuel, a blend containing 5% coco-biodiesel, in the Tamaraw. These efforts aim to evaluate alternative energy solutions that support energy security, benefit the country’s agricultural sector, and contribute to decarbonizing the transportation industry.

Race Weekend 4 will conclude this rolling laboratory initiative, with TMP set to consolidate and share the key findings with relevant stakeholders to support informed decisions and productive applications moving forward.
