MANILA, Philippines – Italian luxury kitchen and home-furnishing brand Scavolini is relocating its Manila showroom, ushering in a new era for its presence in the country. After more than a decade at The Peninsula Manila Hotel, Scavolini will move into a new, modern space at The Proscenium Retail Row in Rockwell Center, Makati City.

A Move Toward Greater Visibility and Immersive Design

The upcoming showroom, designed by local firm 50/53 Architects, is expected to open in mid-2025. It aims to offer visitors an immersive experience through flexible displays that can be updated periodically. The design intention is described as an “unboxing” journey from room to room, where each area reveals a different Scavolini kitchen or bathroom concept.

Modularity Home, Scavolini’s official distributor in the Philippines, expressed that the relocation responds to a need for a more vibrant, creative environment. The new venue’s adjacency to SoFa Design Institute and other high-end stores is expected to generate more foot traffic and collaboration opportunities in the local design community.

Scavolini: Italian Quality, Global Reach

Scavolini, founded in Pesaro, Italy in 1961 by brothers Valter and Elvino Scavolini, began as a small artisan workshop making modular kitchens. Over the decades, it has grown into a global leader in kitchen furniture design, expanding into living areas, bathrooms, and walk-in wardrobes.

Key hallmarks of the brand include its Made in Italy certification, commitment to high-quality materials and craftsmanship, and a versatile design style that ranges from modern and minimalist to classic and richly detailed.

What to Expect

  • Rotating kitchen and bathroom displays to keep inspirations fresh.
  • A spacious showroom layout allowing customers to see how different modular systems and finishes look in real settings.
  • Enhanced collaboration with architects, designers, and design schools, who are keen to see the flexibility of Scavolini’s offerings.

For Manila residents and design enthusiasts, the new showroom promises to be more than a place to buy furniture—it becomes a source of inspiration, a space where style, function, and craftsmanship come together under one roof.
