Ticket sales for the all-new Singapore Oceanarium are now live, with exciting programs and celebrations unveiled ahead of July 24 public opening

Resorts World Sentosa has officially announced that tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated Singapore Oceanarium, set to open its doors to the public on 24 July 2025, following a closed-door inauguration on 23 July. Filipino tourists and global travelers alike are invited to embark on an immersive, ocean-inspired journey where science, storytelling, and sustainability converge to ignite a deeper understanding and love for our blue planet.
To celebrate this monumental launch, the Oceanarium is rolling out a season of opening festivities—a curated lineup of interactive showcases, artistic installations, and hands-on workshops by renowned Singaporean talents, designed to spark curiosity and inspire action across all ages.
Dive Into Discovery: Opening Highlights

At the heart of the launch season is Research & Learning Week (25–27 July 2025), hosted at the Oceanarium’s Research and Learning Centre. This special three-day programme features expert-led talks, interactive exhibits, and immersive workshops, perfect for anyone passionate about marine conservation and ocean stewardship.
A standout is the Living Oceans Exhibition, presented in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC). Featuring specimens from the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum and research from the RWS-NUS Living Laboratory, the exhibit underscores the awe-inspiring biodiversity of our marine ecosystems and the urgent need to protect them.
Another must-see is Ties That Bind, a powerful photographic exhibition by internationally acclaimed Singaporean photographers Toh Xing Jie and Michael Aw. Showcased in the Spirit of Exploration zone, the gallery captures the interwoven connections of marine life and human impact—offering a stirring narrative of resilience, interdependence, and hope. As part of SG60 National Day celebrations, this exhibition also spotlights native marine species, celebrating the richness of Singapore’s own underwater world.
Purpose-Driven Programmes That Inspire Action

The Singapore Oceanarium is more than a visual spectacle—it’s a hub of education, engagement, and empowerment.
Among the flagship offerings is the Singapore Oceanarium Insider Experience—an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour that takes guests inside the heart of oceanarium operations. From marine animal care to habitat preservation, visitors will gain firsthand insight into the day-to-day efforts driving marine conservation.
Other signature programmes include:
- Fossilist Workshop – A hands-on fossil excavation and learning experience for families and science enthusiasts alike.
- Animal Spotlight: Sea Jellies – Discover the timeless beauty of jellyfish, complete with a behind-the-scenes look at their care and breeding.
- Animal Spotlight: Corals – Dive deep into coral reef ecosystems and coral propagation techniques led by the Oceanarium’s expert aquarists.

Technology Meets Storytelling: A New Way to Explore
Launching alongside the opening is the Singapore Oceanarium mobile app, which unlocks a new level of interaction for guests. Featuring AR and VR content, the app allows users to dive deeper into exhibits, access bonus features, purchase tickets, and participate in volunteer activities.
Guests with valid tickets who download the app and create an account can also enjoy priority lane access and receive complimentary access to Pier Adventure (worth S$10) until 31 August 2025. This elevated experience offers a unique view of the Jewel of Muscat—a replica of a 9th-century Arabian dhow—and its surrounding environment.
Another inspiring digital touchpoint is the interactive pledge board. Here, guests can submit personal commitments to ocean conservation and see them reflected in real-time on a stunning, wave-inspired display. Each pledge is also emailed as a personalized digital keepsake, reinforcing long-term engagement.
