Drops music video for focus track “TARANTINO”

Conceived as a cohesive, cinematic experience, the six-track project invites listeners to sit back and experience the music like a feature film.

A Cinematic Video for “Tarantino”

To celebrate the EP’s release, the multi-hyphenate icon has also unveiled a high-octane music video for her focus track, “Tarantino.” The visual follows LISA on an intense, action-packed mission through a hotel to deliver a message to her favorite director. Paying homage to the filmmaker’s signature style, the video showcases LISA performing her own gritty fight choreography and taking down anyone who blocks her path.

Record-Breaking Success of “SaWaDiKa”

PRESS PLAY features her previously released hit single, “SaWaDiKa.” Named after the traditional Thai greeting, the track’s Bangkok-shot music video made history by racking up over 70.8 million YouTube views within its first 24 hours. The massive launch secured its spot as the biggest YouTube debut of 2026. The single also achieved critical chart success, debuting at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking LISA’s highest solo entry on the chart to date.

Historic Award Wins and Performances

The release follows a landmark string of live appearances for the artist:

• MTV VMAs Performance: LISA made a highly publicized return to the MTV stage to deliver the first-ever television performance of “SaWaDiKa.”

• VMAs History: She took home the award for Best Pop for her collaborative track “Dream (feat. Kentaro Sakaguchi),” breaking records as the first solo K-pop artist to ever win in that category.

Next Stop: A Historic Las Vegas Residency

This November, LISA will head to Nevada to launch her exclusive VIVA LA LISA Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Set for a six-night run, the event marks the first time a K-pop artist will headline a Las Vegas residency. Demand for the show was unprecedented, with the initial four nights selling out completely in less than 10 minutes, prompting the addition of two final dates.

Silver Screen Takeover

LISA’s massive year is also being chronicled on the big screen. Her new feature-length documentary, Always Lalisa, recently hit theaters globally after a premier screening at the Toronto Film Festival. Directed by Sue Kim, the documentary offers fans an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at her monumental transition into a solo powerhouse, the launch of her agency LLOUD, her historic Coachella performance, and the creative journey behind her previous work, Alter Ego.
