Meet the Style Curators of the new era, a creative movement begins here
Right in the vibrant core of Araneta City—famously known as the City of Firsts—ibis Styles Manila Araneta City is setting the stage for a creative revolution with the launch of The Style Curators. More than just a brand program, this pioneering initiative is a powerful celebration of artistic expression, community, and collaboration. It offers a fresh take on hospitality by transforming hotel spaces into vibrant hubs of creativity.
The Style Curators is designed to nurture and spotlight up-and-coming artists—particularly the new wave of talent passionate about art, design, performance, and storytelling. At welcoming venues like Le Bistro, StrEATs Coworking Café, and intimate private nooks, ibis Styles redefines what it means to be a lifestyle hotel—serving as a canvas for creativity and a sanctuary for artistic energy.
In partnership with Studio ArtFix, the series features a rotating lineup of workshops, exhibitions, artist residencies, and creative labs, offering young visionaries not just a stage—but a supportive, empowering community. This purposeful movement uplifts creators whose works are rooted in culture, compassion, and impact.

🎨 Kickoff Event: “Palette & Patterns”
The series officially begins on Saturday, July 5, 2025, with “Palette & Patterns,” a guided painting session at Le Bistro, Gateway Mall 2, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Guests will customize artisan handwoven bayong bags with cherry blossom-inspired designs while sipping curated refreshments including wine, coffee, or tea.
Leading the session is the first Style Curator, John Salcedo, a self-taught artist and instructor known for works that beautifully blend nature, heritage, and community.
Fee: PHP 2,499 – includes all materials, a locally made bayong, and expert guidance in an inspiring atmosphere.
🖌️ Next Up: “Strokes & Totes” with Pintang Gala
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, artist and ArtFix founder Jethro Medina, also known as Pintang Galà, takes the spotlight at StrEATs Coworking Café with his colorful workshop, “Strokes & Totes.” Participants will paint their own tote bags under Jethro’s expert guidance. Details on time and fees will be released soon—but expect a vibrant, hands-on art experience that embraces both creativity and personal narrative.
A multi-awarded artist, Jethro’s unique style fuses expressive painting, mixed media, and art education—inviting everyone to discover their inner artist in an inclusive, empowering space.

The Style Curators lineup continues through the rest of the year with immersive and inspiring sessions:
- August: Calligraphy Workshop with renowned artist Gabiee Arboleda at StrEATs Private Dining
- September: Coffee Painting session with multi-disciplinary artist Nomer Husain at Le Bistro Deli Atelier
- October: “Portraits in Clay” with sculptor Ken Sioson, focusing on sculpting expressive busts
- November: Oil Portraiture Workshop—a collaborative session with Jethro Medina and Nomer Husain
