The magic of K-pop lit up the silver screen as HYBE CINE FEST IN ASIA, presented by Weverse, successfully wrapped up its four-day cinematic celebration from July 10 to 13, welcoming over 320,000 fans across more than 370 theaters in 10 regions across Asia.

In partnership with Trafalgar Releasing, the festival brought together HYBE’s powerhouse artists—BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ENHYPEN—in a one-of-a-kind cinema experience. The spotlight event, Jin of BTS’ #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN LIVE VIEWING, was also livestreamed on July 12, drawing thousands of ARMY to select theaters.
Adding an extra layer of fan joy, HYBE CINEMA NORAEBANG transformed movie theaters into sing-along zones, featuring 22 music videos from 10 HYBE artists. Fans danced, sang, and relived the electric atmosphere of live concerts—this time on the big screen.
But the celebration didn’t stop at the theater doors. Attendees also took part in immersive on-site activities, including instant photo booths, dance and karaoke challenges, and message walls dedicated to their favorite artists. These interactive experiences turned cinema lobbies into vibrant festival grounds filled with passion, fandom, and connection.
Building on its success in Latin America last year, HYBE CINE FEST expanded to fans in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, with screenings in Japan continuing through next month. Due to overwhelming demand, additional screenings are also set for Indonesia and Hong Kong later this July.
“HYBE CINE FEST IN ASIA is a fantastic example of what’s possible when exhibitors, distributors, and music labels come together to create deeper, more meaningful experiences for fans,” said Marc Alleby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing. “By transforming cinema lobbies into immersive festival spaces, we offered fans the chance to celebrate the music they love in a truly communal way.”
“HYBE CINE FEST is evolving beyond simple concert screenings into a true music festival—a space where fans gather, celebrate, and connect,” HYBE added. “We’re committed to creating innovative ways for fans to experience the magic of K-pop.”
As the festival continues its journey, one thing is clear—HYBE is redefining what it means to be a fan, one screen at a time.
