GRAMMY® Award-winning rock icons Evanescence and alt-rock trailblazer K.Flay have unleashed their first-ever collaboration, “Fight Like A Girl” — a powerhouse anthem packed with raw emotion, intensity, and unapologetic grit. Released under SONY Music, the track drops Friday, June 6, alongside the highly anticipated action-thriller Ballerina, set in the world of John Wick.
“Fight Like A Girl” marks the first official end-title song from Ballerina, following the dramatic reveal of “Hand That Feeds” — the Halsey and Amy Lee collab that shook fans last May.
The new single was co-written by Amy Lee, K.Flay, Dylan Eiland, and Ballerina composer Tyler Bates, who also produced the track. Channeling the fierce themes of vengeance, resilience, and feminine power, “Fight Like A Girl” surges with the same high-octane pulse that drives the film — a bold statement of strength in the face of pain.
“Tyler calling me up to create this song for Ballerina couldn’t have come at a more perfect time,” said Amy Lee. “I know I’m not the only girl out there ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we’re made of. I really wanted this song to be a collab, and K.Flay is one of my favorite artists. It’s literally a dream come true to do this together!”
“Amy sent me the demo and I was immediately so energized, so inspired,” shared K.Flay. “I was on tour at the time, and I wrote my verse backstage after a show when my adrenaline was still super high. For me, the film and the song are both about how we channel our pain—and how we choose to define ourselves. What separates the hero from the villain?”
