Enchong Dee Showcases Filipino Pride in L.A. with Noble Creations

Actor Enchong Dee recently traveled to Los Angeles, California to personally promote the latest Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana dresses collection from US-based Noble Creations, where he proudly serves as brand ambassador.

A special event was held on March 2 at the brand’s boutique in Artesia, California, attended by notable figures from the Filipino-American community. Enchong expressed his pride in representing a Filipino brand making waves abroad. “Its roots, Lumban, Laguna, is something that makes it comfortable for me to wear,” he shared, highlighting the hometown of Noble Creations CEO Amiel Noble, known for its world-class embroidery artisans.

As a self-proclaimed patriot, Enchong is thrilled to endorse a brand that uplifts Filipino culture. “At the heart of the brand is Kuya Amiel and his advocacy to elevate the Barong Tagalog globally. He dresses up Filipinos making waves in Hollywood, and it fills me with pride to see Filipinos walk the red carpet wearing something inherently Filipino,” he said.

When asked about being an influencer, Enchong emphasized the importance of maintaining a solid reputation. “Reputation itself can sell,” he noted. He also expressed gratitude that Noble Creations chose him despite the availability of more famous celebrities.

Enchong has been the ambassador for Noble Creations since late last year and remains committed to the brand’s mission of increasing global recognition for the Barong Tagalog. Noble was recently honored at the Burdang Lumban Festival in Laguna and cited by The Outstanding Filipino Awards (TOFA) in Hawaii.

Enchong, who attended the Manila International Film Festival events in L.A., sees the US as a place he wants to keep returning to. Beyond his fashion advocacy, Enchong continues to make a mark in the film industry. He starred in “Topakk”, portrayed Padre Jacinto Zamora in “GomBurza”—which won 2nd Best Picture at the 2023 MMFF—and appeared in “Outside”, Netflix’s first original zombie film set in the Philippines.

Now focusing more on acting, Enchong reflected, “After trying hosting, teleseryes, and making albums, I realized that what I truly love is making films. In your 20s, you’re searching for your path. By your 30s, you know it and you focus on it.”

Last year, Enchong wrapped up a French-Canadian film shot in the Philippines, set to premiere later this year. He is also working on the Philippine adaptation of ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.’

With his passion for representing Filipino culture globally, Enchong Dee continues to inspire through his craft and advocacy.
