Darna 75th Commemorative Shirts Released by ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN is soaring high with its latest tribute to the Philippines’ most iconic superheroine—Darna—as it releases a special collection of limited edition shirts in honor of her 75th anniversary.

Created by legendary Filipino komiks writer Mars Ravelo, Darna first took flight in the pages of Pilipino Komiks in 1950 and has since become a symbol of female strength, courage, and bayanihan spirit. From print to primetime, her story continues to inspire generations. In 2022, ABS-CBN brought her to life once again through the TV series “Mars Ravelo’s Darna” starring Jane de Leon.

Now, fans can wear their pride and nostalgia with this exclusive line of Darna 75th Anniversary shirts, available in stylish colors including navy, royal blue, gray, fern green, and greyish green. These collectible shirts are available for pre-order via Lazada, Shopee, and Facebook through ShirtsandPrintsPH.

You can also pre-order them in person at the Philippine International Comics Convention (PICCON) happening on July 5-6 at MegaTrade Hall 2, SM Megamall. The event will also feature an immersive exhibit titled “Mars Ravelo: Tales from the Magic Makinilya”, offering a deeper look into the legendary writer’s timeless works.

Earlier this year, fans were treated to “From Panels to Legacy: Lipad Darna! 75,” a month-long tribute hosted at Casa San Pablo in Laguna, where original costumes from the 2022 Darna series were displayed alongside larger-than-life comic panels and other vintage memorabilia celebrating the superhero’s rich history.

This celebration of Darna’s 75th year is more than nostalgia—it’s a tribute to the enduring spirit of a Filipina superhero who continues to inspire courage in every generation.
