CreaZion Studios proudly brings two celebrated Filipino films — Isang Himala and Flower Girl — to Netflix this November, continuing its mission to champion powerful female-led stories for global audiences.

Fresh from its acclaimed run at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2024), Isang Himala earned 4th Best Picture, the Special Jury Prize, Best Supporting Actress (Kakki Teodoro), Best Original Theme Song (“Ang Himala ay Nasa Puso”), and Best Musical Score (Vincent de Jesus). The film went on to win Best Supporting Actress (Kakki Teodoro) at the Gawad Urian 2025, and was named the Philippines’ Best Feature Film at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2025.
A modern reimagining of the 1982 classic Himala, Isang Himala breathes new life into the timeless story of faith, hope, and the Filipino spirit. Written by National Artist Ricky Lee, scored by Vincent de Jesus, and directed by Pepe Diokno, the film stars Aicelle Santos, Kakki Teodoro, and Bituin Escalante. Produced by CreaZion Studios in collaboration with Unitel, Straightshooters, Kapitol Films, and CMB Production, the film continues to move audiences—now on a global scale via Netflix.
Meanwhile, Flower Girl — which recently closed the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) — takes audiences on a surreal yet deeply human journey. The film stars Sue Ramirez as Ena, a woman thrust into an absurd quest for self-discovery after offending a trans woman babaylan (played by Kaladkaren) and waking up without a vagina. Written and directed by Patrick Tabada, and co-produced with The IdeaFirst Company (And the Breadwinner Is…, Die Beautiful) and Octobertrain (Bwakaw, Barber’s Tales), Flower Girl is a bold and thought-provoking story of love, loss, and identity — streaming on November 20.

“We’re thrilled that Netflix is highlighting our female-led stories,” shared CreaZion Studios CEO RJ Agustin. “These films hold up a mirror to society, and we hope that through this platform, more people will reflect on the modern Filipina’s courage, humor, and humanity.”
Mark your calendars and stream Isang Himala and Flower Girl this November — only on Netflix, brought to you by CreaZion Studios.
