This August, Wish 107.5 celebrates 12 years of bringing music, stories, and unforgettable performances to audiences with a special concert experience that pushes the boundaries of live entertainment: Wish Date: Unchanging Glass.
Presented by Wish 107.5 in partnership with KDR Music House, the 21st installment of the Wish Date concert series takes place on August 23, 2026 (Sunday), at the Araneta Coliseum. Tickets are now available for fans who want to be part of this milestone celebration.
An Evening of Music and Storytelling
“Unchanging Glass” marks the 21st installment of Wish Date, a concert series that has built a distinct following by bringing together film, live acting, and live music in a single immersive experience.
At the heart of the upcoming event is the premiere of the short film “Unchanging Glass,” which follows three people trapped in a place they can no longer move past—and the difficult choices they face when holding on for too long becomes harder than letting go.
The film stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Yukii Takahashi, and Aljon Mendoza, with supporting performances from Monina Lawrence, Sharmaine Suarez, and Chikki Magbitang.
The story will unfold alongside live music and live acting segments, adding another emotional dimension to the film and bringing its characters and struggles closer to the audience.
For Wish 107.5’s 12th anniversary special, audiences can also look forward to performances from an exciting mix of veteran and contemporary OPM artists, including The Juans, dwta, Renz Verano, and Pops Fernandez.
The musical lineup will complement the film’s central themes of love, loyalty, and letting go, creating an evening where music and storytelling come together to explore the emotions behind relationships, choices, and moving forward.
12 Years of Innovation
Wish Date is just one of the many ways Wish 107.5 has challenged the conventions of traditional media throughout its 12-year journey.
When Wish 107.5 first went on air on August 10, 2014, it introduced the Wish Bus, a state-of-the-art mobile studio designed to host live performances and radio broadcasts.
The music sessions recorded aboard the Wish Bus are also made available on demand through the Wish YouTube channel, which has grown to more than 16 million subscribers. These live performances, known as “Wishclusives,” have become one of the defining features of the Wish brand.
Wishclusives also take center stage at the annual Wish Music Awards (WMAs), which recognize outstanding Wish Bus performances, song releases, and artists who have made an impact throughout the year.
Beyond celebrating music, the WMAs carry forward Wish’s spirit of giving through a wish-granting component. Major-award winners donate Php100,000 to charity, turning recognition into an opportunity to give back to communities in need.
