Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc., in partnership with Henry’s Cameras, the City of Manila, and various partner organizations, successfully held the Manila Zoo PhotoWalk Contest 2025 with the theme “Moments at Manila Zoo: Capture the Beauty of Manila Zoo Through Your Lens.”

The event brought new energy to the revitalized Manila Zoo, drawing hundreds of Filipino photographers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts of all skill levels. Participants immersed themselves in the zoo’s upgraded animal habitats and scenic photo zones, capturing captivating shots of wildlife, landscapes, and human connections that celebrated the zoo’s transformation.

Photographers competed across three creative categories — “Wildlife Close-Ups,” “Zoo Life & Interaction,” and “Landscape & Flora.” Each theme inspired diverse visual storytelling and challenged contestants to push the limits of composition, lighting, and originality. Submissions were judged by an expert panel based on technical mastery, creativity, and emotional impact.

During the awarding ceremony on September 30, Canon Philippines unveiled the winning images in a vibrant, gallery-style exhibit within the zoo. Each photograph was printed using Canon’s professional photo printing technology, highlighting the brand’s commitment to turning captured moments into timeless masterpieces.

“We at Canon are proud to support initiatives like this, which nurture creativity, strengthen the photography community, and give permanence to the stories you capture,” said Anuj Aggarwal, Canon Philippines President & CEO.

The Manila Zoo PhotoWalk 2025 reflects Canon Philippines’ mission to empower Filipino photographers, foster community collaboration, and promote a culture of photo printing across the country. Through its partnership with Henry’s Cameras and the City of Manila, Canon continues to champion photography as a powerful medium for creative expression, environmental awareness, and cultural preservation.
