AirAsia x NAIA T1: All International Flights Now in One Terminal.

AirAsia Philippines has announced an important update for international travelers: beginning March 29, 2026 (Sunday), all international flights operated by AirAsia Philippines (Z2) and AirAsia Malaysia (AK) will relocate from NAIA Terminal 3 to NAIA Terminal 1.

The terminal transfer is part of the ongoing reassignment program led by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), aimed at improving overall terminal operations and enhancing the passenger experience at the country’s main gateway, Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Under the new setup, all AirAsia international services — including check-in, boarding, and baggage claim — will be handled exclusively at Terminal 1.

Passengers are strongly advised to arrive at NAIA Terminal 1 at least three hours before departure and to follow updated terminal signage for guidance. Affected guests will also receive notifications via their registered email addresses and mobile numbers.

AirAsia clarifies that while the departure terminal will change, flight schedules remain unchanged. Travelers can continue to check real-time flight updates through the AirAsia MOVE app or via the airline’s official website.

With this transition, AirAsia aims to ensure a smoother, more efficient airport experience as part of broader improvements at NAIA.

Affected guests will be informed about the terminal change via their registered email address and SMS number. 

Meanwhile, All AirAsia Philippines’ domestic flights will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2 (T2), with no changes to current domestic operations.
