AirAsia Cancels Tacloban Flights Sept. 25 Due to Storm Opong

With the safety of its guests as the top priority, AirAsia Philippines has announced the cancellation of select flights to and from Tacloban on 25 September 2025, following the forecasted impact of Tropical Storm Opong (‘Bualoi’) and its associated risks.

AirAsia is offering flexible solutions to provide ease and convenience:

  • Move Flight – One-time free date change within 30 days of the original departure, on the same route within the AirAsia network (subject to seat availability).
  • Credit Account – Valid for 730 days (2 years) from issuance, credited to the guest’s AirAsia member account.
  • Full Refund – To be issued to the original form of payment.
